摘要： An automatic steeping French press style apparatus comprises a housing and a carafe. The housing accommodates the carafe and comprises a motor and selector control for operating the device. The housing also comprises a funnel for directing liquid into the carafe, and a driving mechanism in communication with the motor for automatic control of a filter. The filter mechanism operates by virtue of a lead screw which, when rotating, urges a filter and stabilizer downward through the carafe. The non-circular columnar shape of the carafe prevents the filter and stabilizer from turning with the vertical shaft. An agitator located at the bottom of the vertical shaft is used to stir up sediment prior to filtration.

The apparatus also comprises a container with a securing member to receive and secure the receptacle, to form ice surrounding the receptacle. The container with ice can act as an ice box for the receptacle to allow the apparatus function outside the refrigerator.

The slit includes slit lips directly engageable with and disengageable from each other to respectively define slit closed and opened configurations. The spout valve is made of a material for permitting opening of the slit under pressure from the liquid product for thereby allowing the liquid product to be discharged out through the slit when in the slit opened configuration, and for otherwise permitting closing of the slit to prevent the liquid product from being discharged through the slit when in the slit closed configuration.

摘要： A label dispenser incorporates a roll of labels that is perforated in intervals using common label sizes. The dispenser is used as an alternative to traditional “core” handwritten labels. Current labels come on small sheets and are packaged in clear clamshell packages. The dispenser maintains a tension on the label tape that maintains the integrity of the perforation until time of use. The spool may have a ratchet mechanism that prevents the labels from retracting back into the dispenser mechanism. The ratchet mechanism also helps control the force applied by the user to dispense labels from the dispenser mechanism. Ideally, the dispenser is easy to use, compact, lightweight, and aesthetically appealing. Various different types and links of labels may be used, and the label dispenser accepts a common roll core. In some embodiments, the labels used for the product do not require a liner, thereby eliminating the need to peel off a label from a liner.
