According to the method, the reflective color filter may reflect light having a desired wavelength by controlling the distance between colloidal particles. The method of manufacturing a reflective color filter may include forming colloidal particles having a charged surface, forming colloidal crystals by controlling distances between the colloidal particles, and forming a photonic crystal composite by fixing the colloidal crystals having the colloidal particles.

    摘要: A reflective display device may include pixels. Each pixel may include sub-pixels. Each sub-pixel may include first and second substrates spaced apart from each other; a driving unit formed on a top surface of the first substrate; a reflective layer, acting as a first electrode to which a voltage is applied by the driving unit, disposed above the driving unit; a second electrode formed on a bottom surface of the second substrate; a color filter layer disposed between the reflective layer and the second electrode; and a polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) layer. If the color filter layer is formed on the reflective layer; then the PDLC layer may be disposed between the second electrode and color filter layer. If the color filter layer is formed on a bottom surface of the second electrode, then the PDLC layer may be disposed between the reflective layer and color filter layer.

    摘要: A field emission array adopting carbon nanotubes as an electron emitter source, wherein the array includes a rear substrate assembly including cathodes formed as stripes over a rear substrate and carbon nanotubes; a front substrate assembly including anodes formed as stripes over a front substrate with phosphors being deposited on the anodes, a plurality of openings separated by a distance corresponding to the distance between the anodes in a nonconductive plate, and gates formed as stripes perpendicular to the stripes of anodes on the nonconductive plate with a plurality of emitter openings corresponding to the plurality of openings. The nonconductive plate is supported and separated from the front substrate using spacers. The rear substrate assembly is combined with the front substrate assembly such that the carbon nanotubes on the cathodes project through the emitter openings.
