Abstract: A multilayer resin substrate includes first and second substrates joined to overlap each other, a first signal electrode on a joint surface between the first and second substrates, a first via-conductor in the first substrate and joined to the first signal electrode, a first ground electrode in or on the second substrate and overlapping the first signal electrode, a first floating electrode in the second substrate and between the first signal electrode and the first ground electrode. The first signal electrode includes a first joint joined to the first via-conductor and a wiring portion extending in a signal transmission direction. In a line-width direction transverse to the signal transmission direction, the first joint has a line width greater than that of the wiring portion. When viewed in the thickness direction, the first floating electrode overlaps the first joint of the first signal electrode.

Abstract: A transmission line includes a substrate including insulator layers, a mounting electrode on a front layer of the substrate, a signal conductor, a first ground conductor, a first connecting electrode that electrically connects the mounting electrode and the signal conductor and is between the signal conductor and the first ground conductor in a laminating direction, a first inter-layer connecting conductor that is electrically connected between the mounting electrode and the first connecting electrode and is bonded to the first connecting electrode, and a second inter-layer connecting conductor that is electrically connected between the signal conductor and the first connecting electrode, is bonded to the first connecting electrode, and does not overlap with the first inter-layer connecting conductor when viewed in the laminating direction. The first ground conductor does not overlap with at least a portion of the first connecting electrode when viewed in the laminating direction.

Abstract: A multilayer body includes insulator layers including a first insulator layer laminated in a vertical direction. Electrodes include a signal electrode and are provided at an upper main surface of the first insulator layer and arranged in a transverse direction. At least a portion of each of the electrodes is exposed to outside from a circuit board. First and second interlayer connection conductors extend through the first insulator layer in the vertical direction and electrically connect the signal electrode and a signal conductor layer. Mounting portions are located at the portions of the electrodes that are exposed to the outside from the circuit board. The first and second interlayer connection conductors are electrically connected to the signal electrode so as not to overlap the mounting portion that is provided at the signal electrode.

Abstract: A transmission line includes a ground conductor between first and second signal conductors. The first and second signal conductors and the ground conductor each include a surface in contact with the first insulating layer and a surface in contact with the second insulating layer, the surface in contact with the second insulating layer being larger than the surface in contact with the first insulating layer.
