Abstract: An antenna device is provided as a near-field communication antenna device that is configured by arranging a plurality of loop antennas. Each loop antenna includes a plurality of parallel circuits each having a capacitor and a resistance element; and a plurality of looped conductors in a shape of a loop that is divided. The divided looped conductors are connected to each other via the parallel circuits, and the plurality of looped conductors and the plurality of parallel circuits form a loop.

Abstract: A medical instrument is provided in which a wireless IC tag is fixed to a first or second body, such that at least part of the wireless IC tag is positioned more frontward than a front end of a first ring and a front end of a second ring and more backward than a support. A winding axis of an inductor is orthogonal to the up-down direction and intersects the front-back direction so that electric, magnetic, or electromagnetic field coupling is established between a resonant circuit and a metal medical instrument. Moreover, the metal medical instrument either emits a transmission signal, which has a frequency equal to a predetermined resonant frequency and supplied from the resonant circuit, as an electromagnetic wave, or it receives a reception signal having a frequency equal to the predetermined resonant frequency as an electromagnetic wave, and supplies the reception signal to the resonant circuit.

Abstract: A UHF band RFID tag with stable communication characteristics when attached to a metal surface. The UHF band RFID tag includes a resin block having a first surface serving as an attaching surface to the metal surface and a second surface opposing the first surface, a substrate on a second surface side of the resin block, a RFIC element mounted on the substrate, and a loop electrode connected to the RFIC element. The loop electrode includes metal bodies provided in the resin block and extending in a direction intersecting the first and second surfaces, a flat plate electrode on a first surface side of the resin block and connecting first ends of the metal bodies, conductor patterns on the second surface side of the resin block and connecting the RFIC element and second ends of metal bodies.

Abstract: An RFID auxiliary antenna device is provided on an article that is adjacent to an RFID tag to be communicated or accommodates the RFID tag. The RFID auxiliary antenna device includes a conductive pattern that circles the article. A capacitance component generated between conductive patterns and an inductance component of the conductive pattern configure a resonant circuit. A resonant frequency of the resonant circuit is equal to or substantially equal to a communication frequency of the RFID tag, and the RFID auxiliary antenna device is magnetically coupled to each of the RFID tag and a reader/writer.

Abstract: A wireless IC tag-attached metal medical instrument includes a metal medical instrument including a metal portion. The metal medical instrument is configured such that electric, magnetic, or electromagnetic field coupling is established between a resonant circuit and the metal portion when a wireless IC tag is fixed to the metal portion that includes the resonant circuit having an inductor with a spiral or helix shape that turns around a central axis more than one turn. In this configuration, the metal portion either emits a transmission signal with a frequency equal to a resonant frequency of an electromagnetic wave supplied from the resonant circuit or receives a reception signal having a frequency equal to the resonant frequency, and supplies the reception signal to the resonant circuit.

Abstract: A watch with a built-in tag that includes a display displaying a time, a metal case having a through-hole in a side surface, a metal crown disposed to enable opening and closing of the through-hole, and a wireless communication device housed inside the case. The crown includes a head located outside the case and coming into contact with the case to close the through-hole, and a shank extending to the inside of the case through the through-hole with one end portion connected to the head and the other end portion located inside the case. When the head of the crown is pulled in a direction away from the case, the head of the crown becomes contactless with the case to enable a reader device located outside the case to read information of the wireless communication device through the crown.

Abstract: An antenna device includes an RFIC element, a power supply coil connected to the RFIC element, and a first coil conductor including a first large-diameter loop shaped conductor and a first small-diameter loop shaped conductor. The first coil conductor functions as a booster antenna and forms an antenna resonance circuit. The power supply coil is accommodated in a recess surrounded by the first small-diameter loop shaped conductor. The power supply coil is disposed in a manner that its winding direction is aligned with the winding axis direction of the first small-diameter loop shaped conductor and its outer diameter is inside a coil opening of the first small-diameter loop shaped conductor in a planar view. The power supply coil is coupled to the first small-diameter loop shaped conductor through a magnetic field.

Abstract: An electronic key executes keyless entry communication or RFID communication. A wireless controller mounted on a vehicle executes keyless entry communication within a range of a radius of several meters to several tens of meters. An RFID reader is assigned to each door and executes RFID communication within a range of a radius of approximately 1 meter. In regards to unlocking the door, the wireless controller issues a password by the keyless entry communication, and a wireless circuit temporarily stores the issued password. The RFID readers search for the password stored in the electronic key by the RFID communication, and the wireless controller unlocks a door corresponding to the RFID reader for which the password was detected.
