    Abstract: A system and method for controlling operating parameters of an industrial fluid system based on measurement of optical and electrochemical properties. The system comprises a handheld or portable meter that can substantially simultaneously measure one or more optical properties and one or more electrochemical properties of a sample of fluid from the fluid system. Information based upon the measurements or calculations made by the system may be used to manually or automatically alter various operating parameters to control the fluid system and aid in maintaining stable operation of the fluid system within preferred specifications.

    Abstract: A system and method of treating wastewater within a wastewater network, such as a sewer system, to control odor (primarily from sulfides and H2S), FOG (fats, oil, and grease), and corrosion in a distributed wastewater or sewer system. The system and method comprise generating bacteria using an on-site biogenerator, feeding the bacteria into the wastewater, mixing the wastewater and adding oxygen with an aerator/mixer to maintain dissolved oxygen levels of at least 0.5 ppm (if needed), and adding supplemental treatment chemicals (if needed). The system and method preferably comprise monitoring the wastewater and controlling feed rates of bacteria, oxygen and supplemental chemicals based on the results of monitoring.

    Abstract: Probiotic compositions that comprise one or more bacteria species in spore form, a thickener to form a stabilized suspension and to preferably act as a prebiotic, one or more acids or salts of acids, and optionally a water activity reducer. A system for delivering probiotic compositions by gravity feed or non-contact pump to a point of consumption by a plant or animal, preferably in conjunction with acidified drinking water, comprising a collapsible container with attachable tubing that prevent contamination of the probiotic composition within the container. Delivery may be actuated in response to a timer, motion detector, fluid level sensor, RFID tag, or other mechanism to periodically or continuously dispense a dosage of probiotic composition directly to the soil surrounding a plant or to the water or feed for an animal. A method for increasing beneficial bacteria in an animal's GIT comprises adding probiotics to acidified drinking water.
