Abstract: Provided is a glass film-resin composite, which prevents the breakage of a glass film and enables the production of an elongated glass film. The glass film-resin composite of the present invention includes: an elongated glass film; and a resin tape arranged on at least one surface of the elongated glass film, wherein the resin tape is linearly arranged at least near each of both ends in a widthwise direction of the elongated glass film in one surface of the elongated glass film, and wherein the resin tape includes an adhesive layer, and the adhesive layer is directly arranged on the elongated glass film.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for dividing a composite material in which a brittle material layer and a resin layer are laminated, including: irradiating the resin layer with a laser beam L1 oscillated from a CO2 laser source along scheduled dividing lines DL of the composite material to form a processing groove along the scheduled dividing lines; and irradiating the brittle material layer with a laser beam L2 oscillated from an ultrashort pulsed laser source along the scheduled dividing lines to form a processing mark along the scheduled dividing lines. In the resin removing step, in a region IS where the scheduled dividing lines intersect, the laser beam oscillated from the CO2 laser source is not irradiated multiple times, or an irradiation amount of the laser beam is decreased relative to an irradiation amount in a region other than a region where the scheduled dividing lines intersect.

Abstract: Provided is a production method for a film laminate by which a tough film can be bonded to a brittle film while the breakage of the brittle film is prevented. The production method for a film laminate of the present invention includes bonding a tough film having an elongated shape to a brittle film having an elongated shape while conveying the brittle film, wherein the method includes bonding the brittle film and the tough film to each other by causing the brittle film and the tough film to travel between a first roll and a second roll facing each other, and wherein the first roll has an Asker C hardness of from 1 to 70.

Abstract: A method of producing a laminate according to an embodiment of the present invention includes applying an application liquid containing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin to one side of a resin substrate, followed by drying of the application liquid to form a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin layer. The method includes: passing the application liquid before the application through a depth-type filter having a filtration accuracy of from 50 μm to 100 μm; and fluctuating a pressure applied to the application liquid supplied to the depth-type filter to remove air bubbles in the filter.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for dividing a composite material 10 including a brittle material layer 1 and a resin layer 2 that are laminated together, the method includes: a resin removing step of applying laser light L1 oscillated from a CO2 laser light source 20 to the resin layer along a planned division line DL of the composite material, so that a processed groove 24 is formed along the planned division line; and a brittle material removing step of applying, after the resin removing step, laser light L2 oscillated from an ultrashort pulsed laser light source 30 to the brittle material layer along the planned division line, so that processed marks 11 are formed along the planned division line. The processed marks formed in the brittle material removing step open on the resin layer side and do not penetrate through the brittle material layer.
