Abstract: A method comprises: determining, from an indication that an initial uplink beam between a user equipment and a network node is misaligned with respect to a downlink beam between the network node and the user equipment, at least one misalignment angle between the initial uplink beam and the downlink beam; and reconfiguring the uplink beam based on the misalignment angle to produce a reconfigured uplink beam.

Abstract: Improved techniques of UE local and network assisted compensation of the UE PCO impact on positioning reference signal include performing compensation of positioning measurement error by transmitting a reference signal to a proximate reference device. In some implementations, the reference signal is a wideband reference signal, and the compensation is over a wide band of frequencies. In some implementations, the positioning measurement error includes a PCO in-band variation (IBV). In such an implementation, the UE may associate a respective compensation over the wide band of frequencies with an antenna panel and/or an angle with respect to the proximate reference device (RD).

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of antenna configuration for positioning. The method comprises identifying, at a first device, at least one second device hearable by the first device based on a monitoring of respective reference signals from the at least one second device; determining respective transmit power on at least two antenna panels allocated for the at least one second device based on a measurement associated with the respective reference signals; and transmitting, to the at least one second device, a message associated with a positioning of the first device by using the at least two antenna panels with the respective transmit power. In this way, the chance of successful PRACH for positioning reception at all identified involved gNBs may be optimized for maximized positioning accuracy at low latency and low UE power consumption.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to machine learning based digital pre-distortion for power amplifiers. A device may amplify a signal with a power amplifier and transmit the signal. The signal may be received by an internal feedback receiver of the device. The device may further comprise a first machine learning model configured to emulate an external feedback receiver and to generate an emulated feedback signal based on the internal feedback signal. The device may further comprise a second machine learning model configured to determine digital pre-distortion parameters for the power amplifier based on the emulated feedback signal. Apparatuses, methods, and computer programs are disclosed.

Abstract: A TRP clusters multiple UEs into a group, configures selected ones of the UEs in the group to be head UEs, and configures UEs not selected as head UEs to be group UEs. The group UEs are configured to send signals or calculated information used for positioning of the group UEs to head UEs instead of to the TRP. The TRP receives calculated information that was calculated by the head UEs from the signals or calculated information used for positioning of the group UEs, and forwards the calculated information from the head user equipment toward a network node for position determination of the group UEs. The head UEs both transmit to and receive signals from the group UEs and use the signals to calculate the calculated information. The head UEs may also receive information calculated by the group UEs, which is also used to calculate the calculated information.
