    Abstract: A method includes confirming, by a user device with a network node, a set of machine learning (ML) functionality adaptation parameters for the user device to perform adaptation of a ML functionality associated with at least one ML model that is used by the user device to perform a radio access network (RAN)-related function. The set of ML functionality adaptation parameters indicate at least one adaptation cycle during which the user device is to perform the ML functionality adaptation and a validity period for which the set of ML functionality adaptation parameters are valid. The method also includes performing, by the user device, adaptation of the ML functionality during the at least one adaptation cycle.

    Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer program is disclosed relating to positioning. For example, the apparatus may comprise means for operating the apparatus in a first operating state of a plurality of predetermined operating states as part of a positioning process involving communications with one or more remote nodes.     Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for GIS-NR beamforming for mmWave. For example, certain embodiments may provide for beam realignment, through which a serving network node may be able to re-position its beam towards a UE without the UE explicitly measuring and signalling to the network node the need for realignment. Instead of performing the traditional UE-based exhaustive beam search, the serving network node may proactively switch the beam in an attempt to track the UE movements. The serving network node may do this by corroborating information from two types of sources: 1) a set of neighbor mobile or fixed network nodes and 2) a geographic information system (GIS).

    Abstract: To increase positioning accuracy, channel characteristics are determined taking into account receive filter response and transmit filter response. For example, upon receiving assistance data for positioning an apparatus, a transmit sequence is generated using the assistance data; and a combination of the transmit sequence is generated by combining the transmit sequence. Further, a receive filter response is determined, a transmit filter response is obtained, and a combined filter response is generated using the receive filter response and the transmit filter response. Reference signals received over a channel are measured by sampling them into a plurality of time-domain samples, and the channel is estimated from the plurality of time-domain samples using the combined filter response and the combination of the transmit sequence. Then, per channel characteristics, a value of the channel characteristics based on the channel estimated is determined.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for neighbor cell measurement based timing advance validation. A method may include receiving a network configuration comprising a timing advance command from a network element. The method may also include acquiring at least measurement data of a serving cell relative to a first set of neighbor cells at a first time instance, and measurement data of the serving cell relative to a second set of neighbor cells at a second time instance according to the network configuration. The method may further include performing a timing advance validity check using at least the acquired measurement data from the first time instance and the second time instance. Further, the method may include performing data transmission based on a result of the timing advance validity check.
