    摘要: Due to the raised operating rotation speed, it has become an important technical theme to reduce fluid vibrations caused by high speed air flows passing the wiring extension in a head gimbal assembly in order to raise the positioning accuracy for higher density recording. Embodiments of the present invention provide a spring structure to the wiring extension. In a wiring extension holding section formed on the carriage side, the wiring extension is retained at the center of the groove of the holding section by the repulsive force of spring members. By preventing the wiring extension from being directly subject to high speed air flows generated by a high-speed rotating disk, this structure is intended to suppress vibrations of the wiring extension caused by high-speed air flows passing the wiring extension.

    摘要: Embodiments of the invention limit a pitch attitude angle of a magnetic head slider during loading without allowing gimbal stiffness of a flexure in an ordinary flying state to be increased. In one embodiment, a limiter formed by part of a flexure is disposed so as to provide a clearance from a lift tab formed by part of a load beam. A limiter clearance, if the clearance between the limiter and the lift tab is so called for convenience sake, must be maintained as a physical clearance when a magnetic head slider is in an ordinary flying state. The lift tab and the limiter are disposed on a side of an air inflow end of the magnetic head slider. The limiter clearance during unloading is thereby made small so as to allow proper and positive unloading operation. In addition, the limiter clearance made small during loading allows the absolute value of a pitch attitude angle of the magnetic head slider to be limited to a small one if the pitch attitude angle tends to become negative due to disturbances or vibration from the loading operation itself.

    摘要: A brake application speed is compared with a speed threshold value so as to judge whether or not a braking operation being performed is an emergency braking operation. If not the emergency braking operation, an automatic parking mode is held. When the emergency braking operation is in effect, control information related to a state of an automatic parking control then is stored in a control information storage section, and the automatic parking control is cancelled. Thereafter, when a steering operation or a gearshift operation is performed before a cancellation of application of the brake is detected, the process is ended, and the control mode is held in an assist mode. When the application of the brake is cancelled with neither the steering operation nor the gearshift operation performed, the control information is read in so as to resume the automatic parking control.

    摘要: An ophthalmic photographic apparatus comprises a photographic mask for defining a fundus photography range, a photographic stop for eliminating light reflected from an anterior portion of the eye, and a focusing lens for bringing the fundus into focus. The photographic mask and the photographic stop are interlocked and move as one unit relative to the movement of the focusing lens in such a way that with respect to a photographic optical system, the photographic mask is maintained at a position substantially conjugate with an imaging plane of a CCD and the photographic stop is maintained at a position substantially conjugate with an anterior portion of the eye. The CCD is located at the image-side focal plane of the image-formation lens, the mask is located on the object-side focal plane of the focusing lens, and the photographic stop is located on the image-side focal plane of the focusing lens.
