    摘要: Graft copolymer particles obtained by graft-polymerizing one or more kinds of vinyl monomer onto a compound rubber comprising a polyorganosiloxane component and an alkyl (meth)acrylate rubber component, which graft copolymer particle has a number average particle size of 0.01 to 0.07 .mu.m, the volume of particles larger than 0.10 .mu.m being 20% or less of the whole particle volume, a method for producing the above graft copolymer particle, wherein one or more kinds of vinyl monomer are graft-polymerized onto a compound rubber obtained by polymerizing an alkyl (meth)acrylate rubber component comprising alkyl (meth)acrylate and a polyfunctional alkyl (meth)acrylate with a polyorganosiloxane having a number average particle size of 0.003 to 0.06 .mu.m, the volume of particles larger than 0.10 .mu.m being 20% or less of the whole particle volume, and thermoplastic resin compositions comprising the above graft copolymer and various thermoplastic resins.The present invention provides graft copolymer particles and their thermoplastic resin composition which can give molded products having both excellent pigment colorability and extremely high impact resistance.

    摘要: A polyphenylene ether resin composition comprising(A) a polyphenylene ether resin,(B) a polystyrene resin, and(C) a graft copolymer prepared by graft-polymerizing one or more vinyl monomers onto a compound rubber having an average particle diameter of 0.08 to 0.6 .mu.m and a structure wherein 10 to 90% by weight of a polyorganosiloxane rubber component and 90 to 10% by weight of a polyalkyl (meth)acrylate rubber component are tangled with each other so as not to separate, the total amount of the polyorganosiloxane rubber component and the polyalkyl (meth)acrylate rubber component being 100% by weight of the compound rubber. This resin composition provides molded products superior in impact resistance, heat resistance, mechanical strength, and surface appearance and is superior in moldability and flow properties.

    摘要: A synthetic resin molded article having good antistatic properties is disclosed, which is composed of a body of a synthetic resin (B) having a surface layer which is predominantly comprised of an antistatic polymer (A) and is integral with the body (B). The antistatic polymer (A) mainly composed of units of a quaternary ammonium base monomer of the formula: ##STR1##wherein R.sub.1 is H or methyl, R.sub.2 through R.sub.4 are H, unsubstituted or substituted (C.sub.1-9) alkyl, m is 1-10 and X.sup.- is an anion of a quaternizing agent. The molded article is made by forming a film of the antistatic polymer (A) on the molding surface of a casting mold, casting a polymerizable material to be formed into the synthetic resin (B) as the base material in the casting mold, and polymerizing the polymerizable material to form a body of the synthetic resin (B), simultaneously rendering the film of the polymer (A) integral with the body of the base material.

    摘要: A polyarylene sulfide resin composition comprising 60-99 parts by weight of a polyarylenesulfide resin (A), 40-1 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane graft copolymer (B) prepared by grafting a vinyl monomer on a polyorganosiloxane rubber having a degree of swelling in a range of 3-50 measured using toluene as a solvent and an average particle size in a range of 0.15 .mu.m-0.5 .mu.m and being copolymerized with a graft-linking agent, where the total amount of the (A) component and the (B) component is 100 parts by weight, and 0-150 parts by weight of a reinforcing filler (C). A polyarylene sulfide resin composition according to the present invention is excellent in impact resistance, heat resistance, mechanical strength and moldability and useful for an engineering plastic.
