The method includes receiving content from a provider, where the content includes at least one file segmented into plurality of segments and at least one segment being encoded with a digital rights management (DRM) technique. The method also includes determining DRM status each segment of the plurality of segments and retrieving a DRM permission in response to the at least one segment being encoded by a DRM technique. The method further includes applying the DRM permission to the at least one segment of the content and displaying the least one segment.

The methods include capturing an image to generate a data file, capturing a ancillary data embedded in a signal of a digital tag to retrieve the data of the digital tag substantially synchronously with capturing the image, processing the ancillary data of the digital tag to combine it with the data file to generate a combined file and transmitting the combined file. Transmitting the combined file to any receiving application is further provided, including to a printer application that prints an image on paper having an embedded digital tag and also transfers the ancillary data embedded in the signal of the digital tag to the embedded digital tag. Ancillary data may include copy protection data.

摘要： A method and apparatus for providing location-based information to a wireless communication device is disclosed. The wireless communication device receives its geographic position information and provides its geographic position information to a web server while accessing a web service provided by the web server. Based on the geographic position information received from the wireless communication device, the web server provides geographic coordinates of locations relevant to the web service in the form of web geo-cookies. The wireless communication device maintains a database of the received geographic coordinates. When the wireless communication accesses a geographic map of a route or region, the wireless communication device determines if the geographic coordinates in the database lie within boundaries of the accessed map. The geographic coordinates that lie within boundaries of the received map are annotated and displayed on the wireless communication device.
