    Abstract: A measurement system includes a measurement unit configured to perform measurement a plurality of times on the basis of a first clock signal having a first clock period to obtain a plurality of measurement results, a time stamp provision unit configured to provide a time stamp indicating a measurement time to each measurement result obtained in the second period among the plurality of measurement results obtained using the measurement unit the basis of a second clock signal having a second clock period longer than the first clock period and having better period accuracy than the first clock signal, and a measurement time correction unit configured to correct a measurement time of a measurement result in accordance with a period specified using two time stamps and the number of measurement results obtained during the period.

    Abstract: A heartbeat detection device includes: a sensor data acquisition unit that acquires sensor data indicating an electrocardiographic waveform of a living body and outputs a sampling data sequence D(i) based on the sensor data; a first calculation unit that calculates a temporal difference value DY(i) of sampling data D(i) from the output sampling data sequence D(i) for each sampling time; a determination unit that determines a heartbeat time on the basis of a time at which a change in the calculated temporal difference value DY(i) exceeds a set threshold; a correction unit that corrects the heartbeat time by using a reference time; and a heart rate calculation unit that calculates a heart rate of the living body from the corrected heartbeat time.

    Abstract: A wearable environmental sensor device includes a temperature/humidity sensor disposed on a wall surface of a housing that is exposed to an environment and configured to measure ambient environmental information around a living body, and a protective structure formed around the temperature/humidity sensor. The temperature/humidity sensor is disposed, directly or via a support structure, on or over the wall surface of the housing, wherein the wall surface faces substantially downward from the living body when the wearable environmental sensor device is attached to the living body and the living body is in a standing posture. The protective structure has respective ventilation holes provided in two or more pairs of opposed surfaces thereof each facing in a direction other than a vertical direction of the living body when the wearable environmental sensor device is attached to the living body and the living body is in the standing posture.

    Abstract: A first calculation unit calculates the heart rate of a subject from a plurality of instantaneous heart rates by averaging processing with an IIR filter using a first coefficient. Note that the first coefficient is a numerical value less than 1, and is a fixed value. A second calculation unit calculates the heart rate of the subject from the plurality of instantaneous heart rates by averaging processing with an IIR filter using a second coefficient. The second coefficient is a numerical value less than 1, and is a variable value. A switching unit switches between the first calculation unit and the second calculation unit based on a difference between the precedingly calculated heart rate and a latest instantaneous heart rate.
