摘要: Disclosed is a method of working a semi-finished scroll member for a scroll compressor which has a circular end plate having a first end face and a second end face with a spiral wrap extending therefrom. Before the second end face and the wrap are machined, the outer peripheral surface of the end plate is formed therein with a circumferencial groove to provide jaw finger engaging surfaces spaced from the first and second end faces of the end plate. Then, radial grooves are formed in the outer periphery of the end plate such that each groove extends between and is open in one of the jaw finger engaging surfaces and in the first end face of the end plate. Thereafter, the semi-finished scroll member is positioned relative to a machine tool such that the first axial end face of the end plate is placed adjacent a back-up member of the machine tool. Then, jaw fingers of the machine tool are moved into engagement with the jaw finger engaging surfaces of the semi-finished scroll member, respectively, and are further moved axially of the machine tool toward the back-up member until the first axial end face of the end plate is urged against the back-up plate, whereby the semi-finished scroll member is firmly fixed to the machine tool and ready for machining of the second axial end face of the end plate and of the spiral wrap thereon.

摘要: A scroll compressor has an Oldhams ring made of sintered metal operating as a rotation-prevention mechanism for holding the rotation scroll. The Oldhams ring is formed to a size to accommodate the cutting work or the grinding work of the surface processing during the forming of the sintered metal, and, as a result, the productivity of the Oldhams ring can be improved and the wear resistance becomes excellent. A scroll compressor that is inexpensive and has a high reliability may be made of a hard sintered metal which has an excellent wear resistance. A first groove 3a and the second groove 3b are formed in the end face 3 of the ring 2 of the Oldhams ring into the sintered metal. And, after the processing, the first groove 3a is deepest, and the depth is progressively reduced in order of the second groove 3b and the end face 3 in the Oldhams ring. The wear on the corner part of the tool, which is easiest to wear being used to process the side face of the keys is reduced due to the presence of these grooves.

摘要: A transfer unit includes: an intermediate transfer belt that (i) holds a toner image that has been transferred from a photoreceptor drum and (ii) moves a surface holding the toner image; and a secondary transfer belt that comes into contact with the intermediate transfer belt. The transfer unit (i) transfers the toner image from the intermediate transfer belt to a sheet conveyed to the secondary transfer part and (ii) includes a cleaning unit that removes and collects toner from the surface of the intermediate transfer belt. The transfer unit also includes a power source for sequentially applying, to the secondary transfer belt, (i) a first voltage for generating an electric field that transfers normally-charged toner from the secondary transfer belt to the intermediate transfer belt and (ii) a second voltage for generating an electric field that transfers oppositely-charged toner from the secondary transfer belt to the intermediate transfer belt.

摘要: In the present applying mechanism, a part of a guide sheet 33 bulges (arches) away from an oil application roller 16, with respect to a vertical line S passing through the center of a pipe 31. In other words, in the present applying mechanism, a part of the guide sheet 33 has a shape of avoiding (bypassing) the oil application roller 16 that has a high temperature. With this, oil flowing on the guide sheet 33 is kept away from the high-temperature oil application roller 16. The present applying mechanism can include an edge 50, or gap, in the guide sheet 33 for backing-up flow of oil to before the application roller in order to ensure even distribution of the oil to the application roller. The present applying mechanism can include a narrow gap between the pipe 31 and guide sheet 33.
