Herewith, time during which the lamp electrode is positive and that negative is equal to each other every time the color wheel makes two rotations (T), thereby maintaining the heat load to be evenly distributed between both of the electrodes.

    摘要: Rocker arm clearance removing device wherein a hydraulic adjuster applies torque to a pressure bearing surface at right angles thereto on a curved outwardly extending pressure bearing arm of an eccentric cam which eccentrically supports the rocker arm. Rotation of the rocker arm resulting from the torque causes the rocker arm to come into pressure contact with a valve operating cam and an intake or exhaust valve. An engaging piece can be provided radially extending from the eccentric cam circumferentially spaced from the pressure bearing arm for engaging a swivel stop on the case of the hydraulic adjuster to limit swinging of the eccentric cam and rocker arm during assembly. An arm stopper can also be provided on the case of the hydraulic adjuster to prevent swinging of cam and rocker arm in the opposite direction during assembly.

    摘要: An exhaust manifold device for an engine including at least one pair of cylinders arranged substantially in the form of a V and a turbosupercharger driven with exhaust gases of the cylinders to supply compressed air thereto. The exhaust manifold device comprises a pair of exhaust gas inlet members for receiving the exhaust gases, the inlet members being connected integrally with either of the cylinders, a pair of communication members for conducting the exhaust gases, the communication members having the longitudinal lengths thereof variable and either ends thereof connected with either of the inlet members, and an exhaust gas collecting member for collecting the exhaust gases to supply same to the turbosupercharger, the collecting member being connected with the respective other ends of the communication members.In hot temperature operation, the thermal expansion of the exhaust manifold device can be effectively absorbed, thus eliminating undue stresses.

The intake passage member comprises a compressor, a pre-chamber on the downstream side of the compressor, a throttle valve on the downstream side of the pre-chamber, and a heat insulating elastic member interposed between the compressor and the pre-chamber and between the pre-chamber and an intake port of the engine. The portion of the intake passage that has the pre-chamber and the valve is supported in a floating condition by said elastic member on both ends thereof.

    摘要: According to the present invention, a projection type image display apparatus enables control of a large amount of light masking through a light-masking unit while maintaining a uniform illumination distribution in an area to be illuminated by the illumination light. The apparatus uses two array lenses on which lens cells are arranged in matrix form, where light-masking unit masks the array lens installed on the light source side in their particular area. The light-masking unit adjusts the amount of light emitted from the light source. The light-masking area of lens cells adjacent to lens cells closest to an optical axis is made smaller than the light-masking area of other cells.
