Abstract: A user device may receive from a base station, information indicating that support for a receive limited user device is enabled based on a presence of a threshold number of receive limited user devices within a range of a cell of the base station. A receive limited user device is a user device that is unable to receive a transmission that was transmitted based on one or more communication capabilities of a full set of communication capabilities. The user device may select, in response to receiving the information, one or more communication capabilities to support a receive limited user device. The user device may transmit information using the selected one or more communication capabilities.

Abstract: A technique includes receiving, by a user device, a plurality of semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations, each SPS configuration including an SPS identifier and an interval for each of the plurality of SPS configurations; receiving, by the user device, an SPS activation corresponding to each of the plurality of SPS configurations, each SPS activation indicating a set of resources and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) to be used for transmission of data for the corresponding SPS configuration; determining, by the user device, that a collision will occur for the plurality of SPS configurations during a transmission time interval (TTI); selecting a MCS corresponding to one of the plurality of SPS configurations that have been determined to collide during the TTI; and transmitting, by the user device during the TTI, data using the selected MCS via an aggregated set of SPS resources that includes at least a portion of each of the sets of resources for the plurality of SPS configurations that have been determined to collide during the TTI.

Abstract: The present invention relates to survival time aware mobility and presents handover procedures when considering survival time (ST) requirements. Abstract: A technique of performing a HO includes the source BS sending a HO resume message to the UE at the conclusion of a RACH access procedure that occurs in response to a HO command while a second TRX of the UE continues to exchange data packets with the source BS as if no HO command were issued. By continuing to exchange data with the source BS as if there were no HO command until the HO resume message reintroduces a RACH-less HO procedure, the interruption may be reduced to about 4 msec. At any point in time the UE handles only one protocol stack and only one security, which avoids the complexity of the advanced prior art methods.

Abstract: An apparatus and method that may receive, at an unmanned aerial vehicle, at least one coordinate from a base station, wherein the at least one coordinate comprises one or more reference altitude values associated with at least one of an altitude of an antenna associated with the base station or a ground altitude of the base station. The method may further determine that the unmanned aerial vehicle is within a first three-dimensional zone of a plurality of three-dimensional zones based on the one or more reference altitude values. The method may further adjust mobile network settings of the unmanned aerial vehicle based on the determined first three-dimensional zone.
