Abstract: An endoscope system includes: a capsule endoscope that is capable of being introduced into a subject and that wirelessly transmits image data obtained by capturing an image inside the subject; a plurality of receiving devices each of which receives and records the image data wirelessly transmitted by the capsule endoscope, each of the receiving devices including a receiver configured to receive, by using wireless communication, identification information for identifying the capsule endoscope, a recorder configured to record the image data, and a first controller configured to establish wireless communication with the capsule endoscope according to a reception result of the receiver and record, in the recorder, the image data transmitted from the capsule endoscope by associating the image data with the identification information of the capsule endoscope; and a workstation that is connected to the plurality of the receiving devices, the workstation including a processor comprising hardware.

Abstract: An endoscopic image processing apparatus includes a processor having a lesion recognizing function capable of recognizing a lesioned part included in an image generated by applying predetermined processing. Abstract: An information management apparatus that is used in a capsule endoscope inspection system including a receiving device operated by a built-in rechargeable battery and that is capable of communicating with the receiving device. The information management apparatus includes: a remaining battery capacity acquisition unit that acquires a current remaining capacity which is a remaining capacity of the battery; a storage unit that stores, for each examination item, a necessary remaining capacity which is a remaining capacity that the battery needs to complete an examination; a determination unit that compares the necessary remaining capacity corresponding to an examination item of a selected examination with the current remaining capacity; a calculation unit that, when the current remaining capacity is smaller than the necessary remaining capacity, calculates a charging time needed to increase the remaining capacity of the battery from the current remaining capacity to the necessary remaining capacity; and a control unit that, when the current remaining capacity is smaller than the necessary remaining capacity, causes a display device to display information on the charging time calculated by the calculation unit.

Abstract: A processor of an endoscope system detects from the observation images a lesion area which is an observation target of the endoscope, judges a level of an oversight risk which is a risk that an operator may overlook the lesion area, on the basis of the observation images, and controls notification methods of detection of the lesion area on the basis of the level of the oversight risk. The processor displays the marker image indicating the lesion area only in a second image region of the display apparatus when a level of the oversight risk relating to the lesion area is a first level and displays the marker image in both a first image region and the second image region which is smaller than the first image region when a level of the oversight risk relating to the lesion area is a second level higher than the first level.
