Abstract: This biometric information measurement device is used while attached to a wrist of a human body, and comprises: a blood pressure measurement unit; an electrocardiographic waveform measurement unit provided with a plurality of electrodes and is for measuring electrocardiographic waveforms of the human body; an electrode contact state detection unit that detects the contact states of the human body with the plurality of electrodes; a position detection unit; a controller; a first determining unit that determines whether the device is positioned at a height within a predetermined range; a second determining unit that determines whether the human body is stably in contact with the plurality of electrodes; and a batch measurement controller that performs control for executing, in batches, the blood pressure measurement by unit of the blood pressure measurement unit and the measurement of the electrocardiographic waveforms of the human body by unit of the electrocardiographic waveform measurement unit.

Abstract: Provided is a blood pressure measurement device capable of discharging a fluid from three cuffs even when either one of a pump valve or an on-off valve fails, that includes a pump including a pump valve; a first flow path including a first on-off valve and fluidly connecting the pump and a sensing cuff; a second flow path branching from the first flow path between the pump and the first on-off valve, including a second on-off valve, a third on-off valve, and a fourth on-off valve, and connecting the pump and atmosphere; a third flow path branching from an intermediate portion between the second on-off valve and the third on-off valve and fluidly connecting the pump and the tensile cuff; and a fourth flow path branching from an intermediate portion between the third on-off valve and the fourth on-off valve and fluidly connecting the pump and the pressing cuff.

Abstract: A sphygmomanometer according to the present invention includes a pump that supplies a fluid to a blood pressure measurement cuff, a pressure sensor that detects a pressure of the cuff, a first valve for regular measurement, and a second valve for emergency exhaust. A blood pressure measurement unit measures a blood pressure of a measurement target site by controlling operations of the pump and the first and second valves on the basis of the pressure of the cuff. The abnormality determination unit supplies the fluid to the cuff by the pump in a state where a closing instruction is given to the first valve and an opening instruction is given to the second valve, and determines whether or not there is an abnormality in an emergency exhaust function according to a degree of increase in the pressure of the cuff.

Abstract: The present invention provides a sphygmomanometer that can create, before measuring a blood pressure, a state for making a blood pressure measurement accurate. A sphygmomanometer includes a fluid circuit and a control unit. The control unit has a first preparation processing unit, a second preparation processing unit, and a measurement processing unit which operate in a worn state of the sphygmomanometer. The first preparation processing unit operates a pressing cuff to discharge remaining fluid in a sensing cuff to the atmosphere through the fluid circuit. Then, the second preparation processing unit causes the sensing cuff to store a predetermined amount of pressure transmitting fluid received from a pump through the fluid circuit. Subsequently, the measurement processing unit operates the pressing cuff and calculates the blood pressure by the oscillometric method based on pressure of the pressure transmitting fluid stored in the sensing cuff
