摘要: An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a body coupled to the chassis rearward of the cab, a front axle coupled to the chassis, a rear axle coupled to the chassis, an energy storage system coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, a pump system positioned between the cab and the body, and an electromagnetic device. The electromagnetic device is electrically coupled to the energy storage system. The electromagnetic device is coupled to (i) the pump system and (ii) at least one of the front axle or the rear axle. The electromagnetic device is configured to receive electrical power from the energy storage system and provide a mechanical output to selectively drive (i) the pump system and (ii) the at least one of the front axle or the rear axle.

摘要: An electrified vehicle includes a chassis, a body coupled to the chassis, a battery enclosure supported by the chassis and defining an internal volume, a battery disposed within the internal volume, and a flood port accessible from an exterior of the electrified vehicle. The flood port is in direct or indirect fluid communication with the internal volume. The flood port is configured to receive a fluid from a fluid source and supply the fluid to the internal volume to cool the battery.

摘要: A vehicle includes an energy storage system, a battery cooling system, and a thermal event management system. The energy storage system includes a battery arranged within a battery housing. The battery cooling system includes a first conduit positioned internal to the battery housing and adjacent the battery. The first conduit is configured to facilitate circulating a first fluid through the battery housing to thermally regulate the battery. The thermal event management system includes a second conduit with a fluid diverter positioned therealong. The second conduit is positioned adjacent to at least one of the battery or the battery housing. The second conduit is configured to receive a second fluid. The fluid diverter is configured to facilitate selectively providing fluid communication between the second conduit and the battery housing so that the second fluid flows out of the second conduit and at least one of into or around the battery housing.

摘要: An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a chassis, a cab, a body assembly rearward of the cab, a front axle, a rear axle, an energy storage system, a pump system, an engine, a clutch coupled to the engine, an accessory drive coupled to the clutch, an electromechanical transmission electrically coupled to the energy storage system, and a thermal management system configured to thermally regulate the energy storage system and the electromechanical transmission. The pump system includes a pump configured to pump a fluid from a fluid source to a fluid outlet. The clutch is coupled to the engine. The electromechanical transmission includes a first interface coupled to the accessory drive, a second interface coupled to the pump, and a third interface coupled to at least one of the front axle or the rear axle. The electromechanical transmission is selectively driven by the engine through the clutch and the accessory drive.
