    摘要: Apparatus for damping vibrations between the output element of the engine and the power train in a motor vehicle has flywheels which are rotatable relative to each other. One flywheel is mounted on the output element of the engine and the other flywheel is connectable to the power train by a friction clutch. Vibration dampers are installed between the flywheels, and such dampers are confined in a housing which is provided on the one flywheel and contains a supply of viscous fluid medium for the parts of the dampers. The housing is the input element of the dampers and the output member of the dampers is a flange which extends into the housing and is axially movably coupled to the other flywheel. The flywheels rotate with respect to one another and the dampers contain resilient elements which selectively oppose rotation of the flywheels during various stages of rotation. The resilient elements are also arranged not to oppose rotation of the flywheels during an initial stage.

    摘要: Apparatus for damping torsional vibrations in the power train of a motor vehicle has two coaxial flywheels one of which is driven by the engine and the other of which can transmit torque to the input shaft of a transmission by way of a friction clutch. The flywheels are rotatable relative to each other against the resistance of a damper. Certain features of the apparatus reside in the dimensioning and distribution of its parts in the radial and axial directions of the flywheels to reduce the dimensions of the apparatus. The torque transmitting connection between at least one pair of neighboring rotary parts of the apparatus employs a slip clutch which yields when the applied torque exceeds a certain value. An intermittently or continuously active hysteresis device is utilized to operate in parallel with the energy storing springs of the damper.

The extent to which the two devices can turn relative to each other is determined, at least in part, by plastic inserts which are installed in the one device radially inwardly of the chamber and have anvils which abut each other upon completion of a preselected angular displacement of the two devices relative to each other from a neutral position.

The latter can be used to facilitate the establishment of a separable connection between the workpiece and a substantially disc-shaped section of a cover or housing in a friction clutch for use in motor vehicles. The tool can be left in the recess to serve as a locating or centering device for the workpiece.

The chamber has one or two annular compartments for the coil springs of the damper or dampers, and such coil springs are precurved over their longitudinal extension. Each precurved spring has a center of curvature and includes neighboring convolutions each having a first portion nearer to and a second portion more distant from the center of curvature of the respective spring.

    摘要: A torsional vibration damper for use in a motor vehicle power train has an input disc part connected to the vehicle engine and an output disc part to the downstream side of the power train. The disc parts are rotatable relative to each other against the action of an energy accumulator such as a coiled compression spring. The energy accumulator is seated in a suspension device that is divided into two socket parts. The socket parts are rotatable in relation to each other as well as in relation to the input and output disc parts. The input and output disc parts have biasing means engaging the socket parts so that, for a first sense of relative rotation between the input and output disc parts, the biasing means of the input disc part engage the first socket part and the biasing means of the output disc part engage the second socket part while, for a second, opposite sense of relative rotation, the biasing means of the input disc part engage the second socket part and the biasing means of the output disc part engage the first socket part, with the result that for either sense of relative rotation between the input and output disc parts, the energy accumulator is always force-biased in a compressive sense between the socket parts.
