    摘要: A power transmission device is disposed between an engine and a transmission so as to be capable of attenuating fluctuations in torque. The device includes an input rotary part, an output rotary part, an elastic part, an inertia mass part and an engaging part. The torque is inputted to the input rotary part. The output rotary part is rotatable relatively to the input rotary part. The elastic part elastically couples the input rotary part and the output rotary part in a rotational direction. The inertia mass part is movable in the rotational direction. The engaging part is engaged with the elastic part and the inertia mass part. The engaging part actuates the elastic part by relative rotation between the input rotary part and the output rotary part and movement of the inertia mass part.

The damper retainer plate is operatively connected to the elastic members. The driven plate, the intermediate plate and the back plate are aligned with each other along a radial axis perpendicular to said rotation axis.

At least one damper element unit (42) of the first group (70) and at least one damper element unit (42′) of the second group (70′) are pre-loaded, and the primary side (32) and the secondary side (46) are pre-loaded in a basic relative rotation position with respect to one another. Proceeding from the basic relative rotation position of the primary side (32) with respect to the secondary side (46), a pre-loading path (V, V′) of at least one pre-loaded damper element unit (42) is shorter than a maximum relative rotation path of the primary side (32) with respect to the secondary side (46).

    摘要: A damper assembly for a torque converter includes a drive side elastic element arranged for transmitting torque to a turbine for the torque converter in a first direction and a coast side elastic element, separate from the drive side elastic element, arranged for transmitting torque to the turbine in a second direction opposite the first direction. In an example embodiment, a slope of a torque curve for the damper remains constant in a transition region between transmitting torque to the turbine in the first direction and transmitting torque to the turbine in the second direction. In an example embodiment, the damper assembly includes an input damper and an output damper. The elastic elements are disposed in a torque path between the input damper and the output damper. In an example embodiment, the input damper is selectively engaged with a cover for the torque converter and the output damper is drivingly engaged with an output hub for the torque converter.
