    摘要: A chainsaw having a brake arrangement comprising: a kickback brake drum (10) arranged to rotate together with a drive sprocket driving a saw chain of a chainsaw, a kickback brake for quickly stopping the saw chain if at least one kickback actuator (7) is actuated, the kick back brake including a kickback brake band (11) extending around the kickback brake drum (10) and means for tightening the kickback brake band (17-19, 22) around the kickback brake drum (10), and; a coasting brake weaker than the kickback brake being arranged to brake the saw chain (2) unless a coasting actuator of the chainsaw is actuated, the coasting brake includes a coasting brake band extending around a coasting brake drum (10) arranged to rotate together with the drive sprocket (37), and means for tightening the coasting brake band (20, 22, 23) around the coasting brake drum, wherein the coasting brake band is either at least one longitudinally slit portion (11b) of the kickback brake band or a separate brake band.

    摘要: The invention refers to a cylinder (1) for a two-stroke, crankcase scavenged combustion engine, comprising an inlet pipe (10) for air/fuel mixture, at least one transfer port (17), and at least one outer connecting port (18) intended to be connected to a connecting duct (not shown), whereby the outer connecting port (18) is arranged so that it can be connected to the mentioned transfer port (17) via a piston ported air passage. The outer connecting port (18) is located below the inlet pipe (10) and at least one wall passage (14) extends from the mentioned outer connecting port (18), obliquely upwards through the cylinder wall, to at least one connecting port (16). This design enables the cooling air to flow freely around the cylinder above the inlet pipe (10), which improves the cooling of the cylinder.

    摘要: Flange assembly for supporting a structure that provides scavenging air supply to an internal combustion engine at the carburetor to the engine. The assembly includes a thin-body flange that is configured to be abuttingly installed upon an end surface of the carburetor. The carburetor has its combustion air intake or port exposed at an outer surface for intaking air for the combustion process. The thin construction of the flange enables advantageous positioning of the adaptive flange. The relative dimensioning of the thin-body flange also contributes to its low-impact as a modification to air inlet arrangement. A combustion air aperture is provided that extends through the thin-body flange. The combustion air aperture is located in the flange for alignment with the combustion air intake. By this alignment, fluid communication is established across the flange and into the carburetor when the flange is abuttingly installed upon the carburetor. A scavenging air aperture also extends through the thin-body flange and is spaced apart from the combustion air aperture. A valve assembly is operatively coupled to the thin-body flange and has a valve element positioned at the scavenging air aperture for opening and closing the scavenging air aperture.

Downstream of the diaphragm (30), the carburetor has a fuel valve (60) with a fuel cavity (73), which when the valve is not closed being connected via a fuel conduit (37) to a fuel nozzle (35, 36) in a main air passage (21) in the carburetor. The purging system or priming system including a fuel line (80a; 80b), which is provided with a manually operated pump (81a; 81b) and is connected between a fuel tank (26) and either the fuel cavity (73) or the fuel conduit (37).

The closure device includes a body portion (20) for engagement with the refill opening. The closure device (2) further includes a pivotal member (6) provided with a grip portion (3). The grip portion (3) may be switched between a retracted position and a protruding position. In protruding position, the grip portion (3) extends outwardly of the body portion (20) to form a convenient grip to an operator. A holding member (13, 14, 17) may be provided to hold the pivotal member (6) in the protruding position. The holding member (13, 14, 17) may be secured to the pivotal member (6) and to the body portion (20). The closure device (2) may further comprise a biasing member (11) arranged for urging the pivotal member (6) towards the retracted position.
