    摘要: Methods, apparatus, and computer programs for configuring one or more transmission parameters of a wireless client in a wireless local area network (WLAN) are provided. In some implementations, one or more real time data packets to be transmitted from a wireless communication system to N wireless clients in the WLAN may be generated (N is an integer greater than zero). Each real time data packet may contain real time data in an uncompressed format. One or more transmission parameters associated with the wireless communication system or the N wireless clients may be configured to selectively operate in both a normal transmission mode and a real time transmission mode for transmission of the one or more real time data packets between the wireless communication system and the N wireless clients. The normal transmission mode may be configured to permit the wireless communication system and the N wireless clients to transmit internet protocol (IP) packets containing TCP/IP headers, and the real time transmission mode may be configured to permit the wireless communication system and the N wireless clients to transmit real time data packets not containing TCP/IP headers. The one or more real time data packets may be transmitted from the wireless communication system to the N wireless clients.

A second LNA applies a gain to the signals conforming to the first communication protocol. A third LNA applies a gain to the signals conforming to the second communication protocol is provided. A first signal strength indicator corresponding to a signal strength of a first signal, conforming to the first communication protocol, is determined. A second signal strength indicator corresponding to a signal strength of a second signal, conforming to the second communication protocol, is determined. The gain of the first LNA is controlled based on (i) the first signal strength indicator and ii) the second signal strength indicator. The gains of the second and third LNAs are controlled based on the first and second signal strength indicators, respectively.
