摘要:
The present invention relates to a dual performance cleaning article, wherein said cleaning article is comprised of a first abrasive meltblown surface that facilitates the process of loosening particulates, such as dust and dirt, and an opposing second soft, air permeable surface, which is capable of absorbing and/or picking up particulates and liquids. The meltblown layer comprises coarse discontinuous filamentary elements, formed from adjusting the variable commonly utilized in the traditional meltblown method.
摘要:
The present invention is directed to a cleaning laminate, which comprises an abrasive side that facilitates loosening of particulates, such as dust and dirt, and an opposing, soft absorbent side. The laminate is formed by hydroentanglement on a three-dimensional image transfer device.
摘要:
The present invention is directed to an embossed, three-dimensionally imaged nonwoven fabric, and more specifically, to an embossed, three-dimensionally imaged nonwoven fabric particularly suited for wipe applications. Further, the subsequent action of the entangling jets, which impart the three-dimensional images, affects the rigidity of the embossed images so as to provide a softer, more drapeable wipe.

Improved fibrous structural reinforcements (16) for castable compositions (14) are provided and methods for making the same. In one implementation, the improved fibrous structural reinforcements rely 16) on an amorphous crystalline component (10), an isotactic crystalline component (12) and profiled terminal ends (20, 22) to improve flexural properties. The isotactic crystalline component (12) provides an initial strength to the fiber (16) and the amorphous crystalline component (10) provides a latent strength once the fiber (16) is subjected to tension and flexural input in the castable construct (14). The profiled terminal ends (20, 22) lock into a cured keyway (301) in the castable construct (14), thereby providing further enhancement to the tensile strength.

The present invention relates generally to nonwoven materials, and specifically, to a nonwoven fabric comprised of at least three continuous filament precursor webs, each precursor web being of a thermoplastic polymer dissimilar from the other precursor webs, wherein the resulting durable nonwoven laminate fabric exhibits improved tactile and ductile qualities, as well as improved tensile strength, the nonwoven fabric being eminently suitable for application in improving the comfort and use of hygiene, medical and industrial products.
摘要:
The present invention is directed to a method of forming a nonwoven fabric, which exhibits a plurality of three-dimensional images whereby the fabric is comprised of at least a first and second three-dimensional image that are dissimilar from one another. The three-dimensional images may be imparted into the fabric in a co-planar arrangement, multi-planar arrangement, or by utilizing both arrangements within the same fabric. Further, the present invention contemplates a fabric comprised of a plurality of three-dimensional images which can provide the fabric with various physical and/or aesthetic performances.

The present invention is directed to a cleaning article for cleaning applications, and more specifically, to a cleaning article comprising an indicator, wherein the indicator fades during use to convey to the user that the cleaning article has met or exceeded its useful life span and needs to be replaced. In accordance with the present invention, the disposable cleaning article is comprised of a binder having a finite life span that acts as an indicator. Due to the continuous use of article the binder begins to fade and eventually is removed, indicating that usefulness of the disposable cleaning article has expired. The finite life span of the indicator is beneficial in a disposable cleaning article to act as a reminder to replace the expended cleaning article with a fresh article.
