摘要: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for measuring blood pressures by using blood oxygen concentration and electrocardiography, and the method uses a blood oxygen concentration analyzer to measure a continuous change of waveforms of a blood oxygen cycle during a cardio arterial pulse and an electrocardiography to confirm the pulse period of the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure of the blood pressure and correspond the pulse period with the continuous change of waveforms measured by the blood oxygen concentration analyzer. The microprocessor computes the corresponding cross-sectional areas of the continuous change of waveforms and the pulse period measured by the electrocardiogram, and calculates the values of the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure by a preinstalled formula, so as to accurately measure the values of blood pressures (systolic pressure and diastolic pressure).

摘要: A three-dimensional bioelectrochemical sensor strip structure includes a pair of insulating substrates, a transparent reacting area disposed at an end of the substrates, an opening disposed around the periphery of the reacting area, an electrode having an operating electrode and a reference electrode of different polarities disposed between the substrates, a spacer disposed between the electrodes, and a hydrophilic enzyme covered onto an end of the electrode facing the substrate. When a test is performed, an end of the electrode not covered by the hydrophilic enzyme is inserted into the sensing machine, and the testing object (such as blood) is dripped into any position of the opening of the reacting area, such that the enzyme is dissolved quickly. With the spacer, the electrodes at both sides of the spacer provide a guide of a channel, and a dedicated biochemical reaction is conducted between the oxidation-reduction substance and the test object to produce an electron transfer. The concentration of the testing object can be detected by the sensing machine. The hydrophilic enzyme on the electrode allows the testing object to be absorbed into the reacting area easily, and the direction of the opening of the reacting area is not restricted, and thus facilitating the testing object to enter into the reacting area.

摘要: A biosensor capable of setting standard measuring values includes a detecting unit coupled with an analog-to-digital converting unit, and the analog-to-digital converting unit is coupled to a processor, and the processor is coupled separately with a setting unit, a display unit, a data storage unit, a reminding unit, and a power supply unit, such that when the detecting unit examines biological testing body, the analog-to-digital converting unit converts test information into a digital data. In the meantime, the processor retrieves the standard values prestored in the data storage unit for a comparison. After the data is processed, the data is displayed by the display unit and the reminding unit. In the meantime, users can use the setting unit to change the default settings of the standard values. The reminding unit will use different lights or sounds to remind users, so that users need not to memorize the meanings of the complicated measured values, but can immediately know about the normal or abnormal signals directly by different lights or sounds.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method for automatically calibrating an electronic sphygmomanometer, which pumps air at a predetermined air pressure to a testing electronic sphygmomanometer to simultaneously pressurize a set of pressure sensors set for regular use and at least one other set of pressure sensors being interconnected in the electronic sphygmomanometer to detect whether or not the set of pressure sensors used at regular time is normal. The detected change of pressure during the detection is sent to a control module, and the control module will compare the detected value of each pressure sensor. If the comparison is matched, then it means that the set of pressure sensors used at regular time is normal; if the comparison is mismatched, then the pressure sensors are determined as abnormal and the air valve connected to such pressure sensors is shut, such that when a user uses the electronic sphygmomanometer for the next time, another set of pressure sensors will be started. The present invention can achieve the purpose of allowing users to calibrate the electronic sphygmomanometer on their own without the need of sending the electronic sphygmomanometer to the original manufacturer and further saving time and simplifying the operation.

摘要: An analyte test device is constructed as an integrated, single-use, disposable cartridge which can be releasably installed into a compatible analyte test monitor. In use, the device can be used in conjunction with the monitor to lance the skin of a patient to create a blood sample, express the blood sample from the wound site using vacuum forces and calculate the concentration of a particular analyte in the expressed blood sample. In one embodiment, the device includes a base which includes a top surface and a bottom surface. The base is also shaped to define an aperture which extends transversely through its top and bottom surfaces. An electrochemical test sensor is affixed to the base in such a manner so that a vacuum path is at least partially defined between the base and the test sensor, the vacuum path being in fluid communication with the aperture. A cover is affixed to the top surface of the base over the aperture, the cover comprising a flexible dome-shaped member and a lancet coupled to the member, the lancet being orientated such that its longitudinal axis extends at an approximate right angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the test sensor. The bottom surface of the base is shaped to include a skin receiving surface which at least partially defines the aperture in the base, the skin receiving surface having a steep inward contour to distend the skin of the patient when pressed thereagainst.
