The method may include receiving from a master cell group of a dual connectivity environment a first message indicating that a secondary cell group of the dual connectivity environment is suspended, maintaining a lower layer configuration for the secondary cell group and modifying a measurement report configuration for the secondary cell group based on the first message and while the secondary cell group is suspended, receiving from the master cell group a second message indicating that the secondary cell group is no longer suspended, and reconnecting to the secondary cell group using the lower layer configuration for the secondary cell group based on the second message.

摘要: Aspects described herein relate to configuring and selecting preamble and payload occasions for performing two-step random access procedures. Configurations on preamble occasions, payload occasions, association pattern between the occasions and synchronization signal block (SSB) beams, and the rules for selecting preamble and payload occasions for random access message transmission can be determined by the network and signaled to user equipment (UE). Based on the configurations and rules, UE can measure the link level quality and select possible preamble and payload occasions for one or more SSB beams achieving a threshold signal quality. Sets of one or more preamble occasions and one or more payload occasions can be further determined based on whether the preamble and payload occasion(s) can achieve a threshold transmission latency. The one or more preamble occasions and one or more payload occasions can be used to transmit random access messages in the two-step random access procedure.

摘要: Wireless communications systems may support flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink transmissions. A base station may transmit broadcast signaling (e g , a system information block (SIB)) indicating waveform configuration information for an autonomous uplink transmission by a user equipment (UE). In some cases, the broadcast signaling may include a waveform configuration field (WCF) that may indicate whether flexible waveforms for autonomous uplink are supported, may configure a waveform type, may indicate waveform configuration mapping rules, etc. As such, a UE may identify whether flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink is supported, and may determine waveform types for autonomous uplink transmissions based on waveform type configuration information from a base station (e.g., which may include an indication of whether flexible waveform configuration is supported, an indication of waveform type/scenario mapping rules, etc.), one or more LUTs, identified autonomous uplink scenarios, autonomous uplink transmission parameters, or some combination thereof.

Energy harvesting (EH)-capable devices may harvest energy from different sources, such as a radio frequency sources or environmental conditions such as solar energy. The consumed energy by the EH-capable device may be dependent on a task type and the properties of the EH-capable device. Processing of data symbols, demodulation reference signal symbols, and control symbols may involve different energy costs at the EH-capable device. An EH-capable device configured with multiple slot formats may report to the network the immediate energy status and capabilities of the EH-capable device and/or respective energy costs for the EH-capable device for each of the slot formats. The network may schedule communications involving the EH-capable device (e.g., sidelink communications, uplink communications, or downlink communications) based on the energy costs for the EH-capable device for the multiple slot formats and/or the energy status of the EH-capable device.
