摘要: A selectable mode of operation is disclosed for an X-ray computer tomograph for producing angiographical images. A patient accommodated on a couch is not moved relative to the measuring system in the z-direction, the entire area to be examined is irradiated at a prescribed first angle of rotation of the measuring system, and the X-ray radiation emerging from the area to be examined is detected isochronously using a matrix detector.

摘要: A computed tomography unit and a method are disclosed, for a computed tomography unit having at least one marking device for the positionally accurate marking of an intervention position by way of a laser beam on an object to be examined. The at least one marking device is assigned to a rotary frame of the computed tomography unit and is arranged directly in a recording plane of a recording system. As such, a positionally accurate marking of an intervention position with the aid of simple devices/methods is possible without a large numerical outlay, particularly even during operation of the computed tomography unit, that is say during a rotational movement of the rotary frame.

摘要: A method and a tomographic system are disclosed for displaying tomographic records of a patient. In at least one embodiment, the method includes scanning the patient with the aid of a tomographic system having one system axis, determining at least one topogram, calculating three-dimensional image data records including a multiplicity of slice images on a plane or volume data records, and outputting at least one slice image of the patient. In at least one embodiment, the orientation of individual body zones relative to the system axis of the tomographic system is automatically determined from the at least one topogram, and slice images of the body zones are calculated from the three-dimensional image data records, the slice planes of which are at a defined solid angle to the previously determined orientation of the scanned body zones.

摘要: A method and a device are disclosed for identifying and assigning coronary calcification to at least one coronary vessel of a heart in a patient. In at least one embodiment, coronary calcification is identified on the basis of a 3D image data record of the heart in the patient, which data record was generated by an imaging instrument without contrast agent being administered; at least one 3D model of the profile of the coronary vessels in a human is provided; and wherein the identified coronary calcification in the patient is assigned to at least one coronary vessel of the at least one 3D model of the profile of the coronary vessels in a human. At least one embodiment moreover relates to a computer program product, having a computer program that is stored on a medium that can be read by a computational unit, for carrying out the method for identifying and assigning coronary calcification when the computer program is loaded into the computational unit.

摘要: A device and a method for planning an endovascular procedure are proposed. A medical instrument, particularly a catheter, is introduced into a vessel and is guided to its place of application via the vessel. Vessel diameters and bend radiuses along a plotted vessel course are automatically determined from the volume data set of the medical imaging and compared with a maximum diameter and minimum bend radius of the medical instrument planned for use. Points or regions within the plotted vessel course which have too low a vessel diameter or bend radius are subsequently highlighted in color in an image display of the vascular tree or vessel course. The user immediately detects critical areas and can if necessary change his or her plan or resort to an instrument with different geometric data. The method and the device make planning the endovascular procedure possible even for inexperienced users.
