摘要: The present disclosure describes embodiments of a patient monitoring system and methods that include the measure and display of hemoglobin statistics. In an embodiment, total hemoglobin trending is displayed over a period of time. Statistics can include frequency domain analysis, which may be unique for each patient monitored. The total hemoglobin trending and/or statistics can further be used to help control the treatment of a patient, such as being used to control IV administration.

摘要: A patient table adapted for use in association with an MR scanner for neonatal infants is provided. The patient table has an extendable patient bed attached to and extendable from the patient table. The patient bed may be at least partially inserted into an MR scanner without requiring the patient table to enter the MR scanner. A transport mechanism is on the underside of the patient table so that it may be readily moved over the floor on which it rests. The patient table includes a latching mechanism that may operate to releasably attach the patient table to a patient table docking assembly. The docking assembly is operative to selectively move the patient table towards, into and away from the MR scanner.

摘要: Diagnostic apparatus (24) includes a sealed case (40), including a biocompatible material and configured for implantation within a body of a human subject (22). At least one antenna (42) is configured to be implanted in the body in proximity to a target tissue (28) and to receive radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic waves propagated through the target tissue and to output a signal in response to the received waves. Processing circuitry (44,46), which is contained within the case, us coupled to receive and process the signal from the antenna so as to derive and output an indication of a characteristic of the target tissue.

摘要: A measurement device includes a sensor attached to a biosensor which includes a reagent that selectively responds to a specific analyte in a biological fluid, an analyte measurer that measures a concentration of the specific analyte with a biosensor, and a motion measurer that measures a motion level of the measurement device. A recorder records the concentration of the analyte and motion information, and a controller connects the analyte measurer and the motion measurer and controls the analyte measurer and the recorder based on the controller motion information. The controller includes a damage determiner that judges whether or not the measurement device is damaged, based on the motion level.
