    摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of compounds of formula wherein the substituents are as described herein which comprises the steps of a) reacting a compound of formula with a compound of formula to form a compound of formula b) converting the OH/═O function of compounds of formula XIV/XIVa into a leaving group P with a reagent containing a leaving group, selected from POCl3, PBr3, MeI and (F3CSO2)2O to form a compound of formula wherein P is halogen or trifluoromethanesulfonate; c) substituting R2 for the leaving group P by reacting compound XV with HR2 to form a compound of formula and d) hydrolyzing the nitrile function in an acidic medium selected from H2SO4, HCl and acetic acid, to form a compound of formula I The compounds of formula I are valuable intermediates for the manufacture of therapeutically active compounds which have NK-1 antagonist activity.

    摘要: The present invention concerns an injection device with a housing adapted to receive a syringe having a discharge nozzle, the housing having an indicator opening. There is a trigger and a forward drive arranged to act upon the syringe on actuation of the trigger to advance the syringe from a retracted position to an extended position thereby discharging the contents of the syringe through the discharge nozzle. A support member is in contacting juxtaposition with the housing and a return drive is supported by the support member and arranged to act upon the syringe after the contents of the syringe has been discharged so that the syringe can be withdrawn from the extended position to the retracted position. Advantageously, the support member is arranged in the housing so that the second drive does not obscure an inspection of the contents of the syringe through the indicator opening. Hence, it can be clearly determined whether the contents of the syringe have been expelled from the syringe.

    摘要: A system for coordinating the submission and processing of a bill according to predictive payment data of a plan. The system comprises a provider interface and an integrated database for receiving a predictive payment plan submitted from the provider interface. The system also has a predictive payment request of the plan storable in the database, the request including a plurality of predictive payment parameters. An adjudication engine is coupled to the integrated database, and an insertion function is used for inserting the predictive payment parameters into an adjudication rule set of the adjudication engine. The adjudication rule set is used for eventual adjudication of the predictive payment data, wherein adjudication of the predictive payment data results in the generation of the bill. The system also has a workflow engine for coordinating the processing of the electronic bill and for updating the bill information in response to processing.

    摘要: A real-time, on-line method and analytical system for determining halohydrocarbons in water which operate by (1) extracting on-line samples; (2) purging volatile halohydrocarbons from the water (e.g., with air or nitrogen); (3) carrying the purge gas containing the analytes of interest over a porous surface where the analytes are adsorbed; (4) recovering the analytes from the porous surface with heat (thermal desorption) or solvent (solvent elution) to drive the analytes into an organic chemical mixture; (5) generating an optical change (e.g., color change) in dependence upon a reaction involving the analytes and a pyridine derivative; and (6) measuring optical characteristics associated with the reaction to quantify the volatile halogenated hydrocarbon concentration.
