摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer program determine each transmission point participating in a joint cooperative multi-point transmission to a UE, send a downlink message to the UE which identifies each of the transmission points, and which schedules for the UE downlink resources on which each of the transmission points are to send downlink data to the UE, and send a transmission to the UE on one of the downlink resources in conjunction with each other transmission point's transmission to the UE. A method, apparatus, and computer program receive a downlink message which identifies each of transmission points participating in a joint cooperative multi-point transmission with a UE and which schedules downlink resources on which the UE is to receive downlink data from the transmission points for the joint transmission, and receive, at the UE, a transmission on one of the downlink resources in conjunction with the other transmission point's transmission.

摘要: Disclosed herein are apparatus, methods and computer program products for transmitting signals in different frequency sub-bands used in a particular cell of a cellular wireless communications system in accordance with a power sequence and for selecting modulation schemes to be used in transmitting the signals in the different frequency sub-bands in dependence on signal transmission power allocated to the sub-bands in the power sequence. In the power sequence, signals to be transmitted in at least one sub-band are allocated a higher signal transmission power level than signals to be transmitted in other sub-bands used in the particular cell of the cellular wireless communication system. The differing signal transmission power levels allocated to the different sub-bands typically results in different SINR for signals transmitted at the higher signal transmission power levels and signal transmitted at the lower signal transmission power levels. In order to reduce the SINR difference between signals transmitted in the different sub-bands, modulation schemes are selected in dependence on the signal transmission power levels allocated to signals transmitted in the sub-bands.

摘要: Frequency resources for common control regions of a control channel are defined or determined as a function of at least bandwidth and an identifier of a specific cell. Communications between a wireless network and a mobile device are then done using the defined/determined frequency resources of the common control regions of the control channel. In the non-limiting embodiments: the bandwidth is bandwidth of a cell or of a component carrier; the frequency resources are defined/determined further as a function of an offset value; the common control regions are of an ePDCCH and the offset value differs from a channel edge offset value for common control regions of all other ePDCCHs of all other adjacent cells or all other transmit nodes in the same cell; and the frequency resources comprise frequency stripes (which may be interleaved by resource element groups) distributed in frequency across the bandwidth.

摘要: Frame structures and signaling arrangements for interference aware scheduling may be applicable to a local area radio system to complement existing wide area cellular systems, like GSM/UMTS/HSPA/LTE. In certain embodiments a method is provided including preparing a frame for transmission in a wireless communication system. The method can also include incorporating an interference report into the frame. The interference report is directly associated with a corresponding resource. The method can further include transmitting the interference report within the frame in the wireless communication system.

摘要: A method is disclosed that includes selecting one or more terminals involved in a device-to-device communication to which interference caused by a transmission to one or more other terminals should be suppressed, and choosing a number of degrees of freedom from a predetermined number of degrees of freedom to be used to suppress interference towards the selected one or more terminals. The method also includes using the remaining degrees of freedom from the predetermined number to increase signal quality to the one or more other terminals and performing precoding based on the chosen number of degrees of freedom and the remaining degrees of freedom. The method further includes, using at least the performed precoding, transmitting information to the one or more other terminals. Apparatus and programs/program products are also disclosed.

摘要: A first parameter such as an indicator of modulation and coding scheme MCS for a first shared channel SCH codeword and a second parameter for a second SCH codeword are determined. From a locally stored mapping rule a bit sequence that explicitly indicates the first parameter and that implicitly indicates the second parameter is chosen, and a first control channel CCH codeword is transmitted with the explicit bit sequence that explicitly indicates the first parameter for the first SCH codeword and a second CCH codeword is sent companion to the first CCH codeword, wherein the second parameter for the second SCH codeword is implicitly indicated by the explicit bit sequence of the first CCH codeword. The receiving party determines the second parameter by its own locally stored mapping rule, and an indicator in each CCH codeword may be used to inform the receiver that the two (or more) CCH codewords are associated with one another and to use its mapping rule to determine the second parameter.
