    摘要: A system of transferring of three dimensional (3D) image data is described. A 3D source device (10) provides 3D display signal (56) for a display (13) via a high speed digital interface like HDMI. The 3D display signal has frames constituting the 3D image data according to a 3D video transfer format, in which format the frames comprise at least two different frame types. Each frame has a data structure for representing a sequence of digital image pixel data, and represents a partial 3D data structure. The 3D source device includes frame type synchronization indicators in the 3D display signal. The display detects the frame type synchronization indicators and frame types, and generates the display control signals based on synchronizing the partial 3D data structures in dependence of the frame type synchronization indicators.

    摘要: A method of transmitting three dimensional video information over an interface from a playback device to a displaying device, the displaying device and the interface such that the properties of the displaying device can be queried over the interface, the method comprising determining one or more video format in which a compressed three dimensional video information is available to an input of the playback device, the three dimensional video information available either as stored on a record medium or received via a data transmission system; querying the displaying device over the interface with respect to one or more three dimensional video formats which the displaying device is able to process; selecting a best matching video format, wherein the best matching video format different from at least one available video format, the selection of the best matching video format based on the available video format and the video formats which the displaying device is able to process; processing the compressed three dimensional video information such that the three dimensional video information is transmitted over the interface in the best matching video format.

    摘要: A method for breathing of scheduling algorithms for a storage device (110). The method including: (a) computing a worst-case duration of a breathing cycle (P) for the storage device (110); (b) starting a breathing cycle; (c) determining if one of the following becomes true before the end of P: (i) a number of real-time requests is at least a predetermined threshold based on a number of data streams and performance parameters of the storage device; and (ii) a number of pending requests for any single stream becomes more than one; (d) if at least one of (i) and (ii) remain true during the duration of P, starting a subsequent breathing cycle after completion of the breathing cycle; and (e) if both of (i) and (ii) are not true during the duration of P, waiting P time units from the start of the breathing cycle before starting the subsequent breathing cycle.

    摘要: The invention relates to a system and method of processing an input three dimensional video signal comprising multiple views, the method comprising: determining a far disparity estimate indicative of the largest disparity value for the input three dimensional video signal, a near disparity estimate indicative of the smallest disparity value for a spatial region within the input three dimensional video signal, adapting the input three dimensional video signal by shifting the input three dimensional video signal backwards by means of a disparity shift based on the far disparity estimate and generating an overlay within the spatial region for the shifted three dimensional video signal based on the near disparity estimate and the disparity shift. The invention further relates to a computer program product implementing a method according to the present invention.
