    摘要: The invention provides a novel method for manufacturing iodinated resin particulates that have widespread utility as disinfectants. The invention also provides novel iodinated demand disinfectant iodinated resins that have superior properties than resins known in the art. The novel manufacturing process of the current invention is highly efficient and environmentally friendly and is conducted without the presence of water. Additionally, the manufacturing process produces iodinated resins that have better overall biological performance than resins produced by prior art methods owing to higher degrees of iodine in the manufactured resin particulates and higher degrees of uniformity of iodine content when comparing particulate to particulate.

    摘要: A protective cover is disclosed for coin operated telephones which includes a coin box for storage of coins and a coin return opening for providing the user with a refund of unused coins. The protective cover is constructed of heavy gauge protective steel plate and is dimensioned to extend across the entire width of the telephone while providing limited, but sufficient access to the coin return opening of the telephone by including a relatively small opening to provide such access. A door which blocks the opening in the steel plate is pivotally mounted to the rear surface of the plate and is dimensioned to pivot rearwardly when returned coins are retrieved by the user, thus preventing stuffing of the coin return area. The door is greater in the vertical dimension than the vertical dimension of the relatively small coin return access opening and includes a rearwardly depending flange at the lower edge portion and a forwardly depending flange along each vertical side portion to prevent tampering or stuffing of the opening. The vertical flanges are approximately equal in length to the vertical dimension of the opening and extend forwardly to the forward surface of the steel plate. Limited pivotal movement of the coin return protective door is permitted by the protective cover. The protective cover is permanently attached to the locked cash box vault door and is therefore readily removable along with the vault door. A method for protection of coin operated telephones is also disclosed.

The antitoxic properties are imparted to the fabric by introducing an active agent such as an antimicrobial or antiviral agent to the fabric. The active agent may be introduced into the fabric at multiple stages of the manufacturing process. For nonwoven fabrics, the active agent can be introduced during web formation and/or during post-processing steps. The fabrics produced in accordance with the present invention have widespread utility. For instance, they can be used as wound dressings, gowns, drapes, air filters, protective clothing and wipes.
