摘要: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for synchronized channel access. Some implementations more specifically relate to facilitating coexistence among wireless communication devices that support synchronized channel access and those that do not. A group of access points may schedule periodically recurring, synchronized channel access periods by periodically transmitting quiet elements. The quiet elements establish recurring quiet periods during which legacy devices are not permitted to transmit. In some implementations, an access point may transmit one or more quiet override elements each associated with a respective quiet element and indicating to other access points supporting synchronized channel access that they are permitted to contend for access during the respective quiet period. In some other implementations of synchronized channel access, an access point supporting synchronized channel access that wins contention after one or more consecutive synchronized channel access periods during which no other synchronized access points won contention, may be entitled to an extended TXOP.

摘要: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for use of a reinforcement learning (RL) model to obtain one or more parameters associated with a channel access procedure. Some aspects more specifically relate to mechanisms according to which a wireless communication device may receive information associated with the RL model and transmit a protocol data unit (PDU) during a slot that is based on an output of the model. The wireless communication device may use the RL model to perform a distributed channel access procedure in accordance with the information and may further transmit the PDU, during the slot that is based on the output of the RL model, in accordance with the distributed channel access procedure. The information associated with the RL model may indicate or configure the RL model or may indicate whether the wireless communication is allowed to retrain the RL model.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device that operates in a wireless local area network may include an auxiliary radio and a main radio and may operate in both an auxiliary radio mode and a main radio mode. The auxiliary radio may support both transmitting and receiving or may support receiving only. The wireless device may indicate parameters associated with an auxiliary radio mode and/or with transitioning from the auxiliary radio mode to a main radio mode. The auxiliary radio may perform additional functions while the wireless device communicates with a second wireless device on a wireless link using the main radio. For example, the auxiliary radio may monitor channel metrics of the wireless link, receive and/or transmit control communications with the second wireless device, receive and/or transmit high importance data communications, or scan for and/or initiate connections via other wireless channels.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus for managing data traffic in restricted target wake time (TWT) service periods (SPs). In some aspects, an access point (AP) receives a request frame from a wireless station (STA) associated with a client device via a peer-to-peer (P2P) link, the request frame indicating the STA intends to exchange P2P communications with the client device during a r-TWT SP scheduled on a wireless medium. The AP obtains a transmission opportunity (TXOP) on the wireless medium during the r-TWT SP, the request frame identifying the client device. The AP transmits a trigger frame on the wireless medium responsive to obtaining the TXOP, the trigger frame allocating a portion of the obtained TXOP for P2P communications between the STA and the client device, wherein at least one of the response frame or the trigger frame indicates a Network Allocation Vector (NAV) exception for the client device.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device and a second wireless device (e.g., access points, stations) may support transmission opportunity (TXOP) sharing procedures. The second wireless device may transmit a frame indicating a capability of the second wireless device to support one or more triggered TXOP sharing modes. The second wireless device may transmit an indication (e.g., a frame) indicating to change support for the triggered TXOP sharing modes based on the capability. The change may indicate to suspend, resume, disable, or enable the triggered TXOP sharing modes. For example, the second wireless device may transmit an indication to suspend support of a first triggered TXOP sharing mode that enables the second wireless device to perform peer-to-peer transmissions. Accordingly, the first wireless device may trigger the second wireless device to communicate according to the supported triggered TXOP sharing modes.
