    Abstract: Apparatus and method for wireless communication in a wireless communication network includes operating a wireless device on a first wireless communication technology. Aspects also include detecting a cell of a second wireless communication technology and determining the detected cell of the second wireless communication technology satisfies a first reselection criterion based on a first measurement.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described in relation to a Multiple Subscriber Identify Module (MSIM) user equipment (UE). The UE associated with multiple network subscriptions may determine a first timing of a first set of paging occasions associated with a first network subscription of the multiple network subscriptions, wherein the first network subscription is associated with a first network; determine a second timing of a second set of paging occasions associated with a second network subscription of the multiple network subscriptions, wherein the second network subscription is associated with a second network; compare the first timing and the second timing; detect a paging time adjustment condition based on the comparing; and based on the detecting, transmit to the first network, the second network or both a random access signal using a random access resource configured to convey a paging time adjustment request.

    Abstract: A multi-SIM UE may perform network SIB acquisition for each network subscription. However, if the multi-SIM UE employs subscriptions for the same network these operations may be performed redundantly. By identifying that the UE is employing multiple subscriptions, the UE and network can perform a single SIB acquisition for multiple subscriptions, which reduces power consumption and optimize network signaling overhead. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE configured to determine that the UE is associated with a plurality of network subscriptions, the plurality of network subscriptions being associated with a network, select a network subscription from the plurality of network subscriptions, perform a random-access procedure using the network subscription, receive system information broadcast in response to the random-access procedure, and configure the plurality of network subscriptions at the UE based on the system information.

    Abstract: The present disclosure presents a method and an apparatus for inter radio access technology (IRAT) cell reselection. For example, the method may include identifying that a user equipment (UE) in an idle or a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode is camped on a cell of a first RAT, determining that the cell the UE is camped on is not broadcasting any neighbor cell of a second RAT, scanning for one or more frequencies of the second RAT based on the determination, and triggering a cell reselection to a cell of the second RAT, wherein the cell of the second RAT is associated with a frequency identified during the scanning. As such, an autonomous IRAT cell reselection may be achieved.

    Abstract: A MSIM UE may perform various network operations for each network subscription. However, if the MSIM UE employs subscriptions for different network operators, the UE may need to periodically tune away for an active data transmission. Such tune-away may cause the UE to miss scheduled communications from the network. Aspects of the present invention are directed to a mechanism by which a UE can notify a base station of the MSIM state, and thereby allow the network to improve scheduling for the UE to allow for periodic tune-away by the UE with minimal impact on scheduled communications. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may by a UE, such as MSIM UE. The apparatus may be configured to determine that the UE is associated with one or more network subscriptions, and transmit a subscription indication to a network device, wherein the subscription indication identifies a subscription state of the UE to the network.
