Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a node may receive a configuration associated with measuring an energy level of a first frequency channel of an unlicensed radio frequency band, wherein the configuration indicates a set of measurement occasions during which the energy level is to be measured on the first frequency channel; measure the energy level on the first frequency channel in a first measurement occasion, of the set of measurement occasions, according to the configuration, and operate in association with a second frequency channel of the unlicensed radio frequency band based at least in part on measuring the energy level on the first frequency channel, wherein the second frequency channel is paired with the first frequency channel for the unlicensed radio frequency band. Abstract: A method and system are disclosed that allow for the control of transmission characteristics associated with an exchange of protocol data units (PDUs) between a first wireless device and a second wireless device. The first wireless device determines a number of transmission conditions that may include, for example, a maximum duration of time that the first wireless device can spend receiving or transmitting each PDU. The first wireless device embeds the transmission conditions into a frame, and transmits the frame to the second wireless device. The second wireless device may selectively modify a size of the PDUs in response to the maximum duration of time so that the first wireless device can receive each of the PDUs in less than the maximum duration of time.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) includes a first communication component configured to use a first frequency band, such as ultra-wide band (UWB), and a second communication component configured to use an intermediate frequency (IF) band that overlaps with the UWB band, such as an IF millimeter wave (mmWave) band. The second communication component conducts an IF signal along an internal signal conduction line that may interfere with UWB processing. A processor of the UE is configured to detect an indication of such interference, and, in response to the indication of interference, control the second communication component to adjust a characteristic of the IF band signal to mitigate the interference, such as by reducing its signal strength. The amount by which the IF band signal strength is reduced may be controlled to achieve a desired tradeoff between various performance metrics, such as power consumption and quality of service.
