    Abstract: Cell reselection and other operations involving signal measurements at a UE may increase the power consumption and operation complexity at a UE, such as a reduced capacity UE (RedCap UE). In some scenarios, for example, a UE may need to frequently switch to bandwidth parts (BWPs) outside the bandwidth of its initial DL bandwidth part to receive and measure synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) for cell reselection, which increases the power consumption of the UE. The aspects described herein allow a UE to measure SSBs in one or more bandwidth parts that is not an initial DL bandwidth part configured by a serving cell of the UE in response to an event trigger or a message received at the UE. The SSBs may be associated with the serving cell of the UE or with a non-serving cell. The UE performs a cell reselection operation based on the measurements.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a set of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs). The UE may receive an indication of a set of physical cell identifiers (PCIs) associated with the set of SSBs, wherein the set of PCIs are stored in association with the set of SSBs. The UE may refrain from performing a measurement on a first SSB, in the set of SSBs, wherein the first SSB is associated with a same PCI, in the set of PCIs, as a second SSB that is included in the set of SSBs and is measured.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that an uplink transmission to a base station is to occur in accordance with an uplink timing advance value representing an amount of time that the uplink transmission takes from transmission at the UE to reception at the base station. The UE may perform an autonomous open-loop adjustment to the uplink timing advance value. The UE may transmit the uplink transmission to the base station in accordance with the adjusted uplink timing advance value. The base station may transmit an indication of a set of uplink timing advance values for a UE to use for uplink transmissions, each of the set of uplink timing advance values representing an amount of time that an uplink transmission is expected to take from transmission at the UE to reception at the base station.
