    Abstract: Various embodiments include methods and apparatuses for managing multiple memories on a multi-slot communication device as a single contiguous combined memory. The memories may include various types of universal serial bus (USB) and/or universal integrated circuit card (UICC) memories. Ranges of physical addresses of portions of each memory may be associated with a range of virtual addresses of the single contiguous combined memory. Associations of physical and virtual addresses may be stored on the multi-slot communication device. A single memory access request to the single contiguous combined memory may be made using the virtual addresses, translated into multiple memory access requests for the individual memories using the physical addresses. Memory accesses requests to the single contiguous combined memory may be made using a variety of communications protocols and translated such that at least one of the multiple memory access requests for the individual memories is made using USB communications protocols.

    Abstract: The various embodiments include methods and apparatuses for providing multiple memories on a multi-slot communication device or on a multi-slot communication device and a wireless device as a single, contiguous, combined memory. The memories may include various types of universal serial bus (USB) and/or universal integrated circuit card (UICC) memories. Ranges of physical addresses of portions of each memory may be associated with a range of virtual addresses of the combined memory. The associations of physical and virtual addresses may be stored on the multi-slot communication device. A single memory access request to the combined memory may be made using the virtual addresses, then translated into multiple memory access requests for the individual memories using the physical addresses. Providing memory access requests to a memory on the wireless device may be accomplished by connecting to the memory on the wireless device over a wireless network by the multi-slot communication device.

The mobile device may have wireless access using LTE or NR carrier aggregation and may be enabled to send uplink communication to multiple base stations.     Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for location determination at a mobile device comprising sending positioning capabilities of the mobile device to a location server, where the positioning capabilities comprise an identification of a partial Radio Frequency (RF) band that is contained within a complete RF band. The positioning capabilities indicate that the mobile device can measure the partial RF band but cannot measure the complete RF band. The mobile device may subsequently receive location assistance data from the location server, where the location assistance data comprises configuration information for at least one reference signal (RS) in the partial RF band. The mobile device may then obtain at least one location measurement from the at least one RS based on the configuration information, and sends location information to the location server, where the location information is based on the at least one location measurement.

    Abstract: Methods for obtaining network services on a mobile communication device may include attaching the mobile communication device to a first network associated with a first subscription supported by a first profile stored on an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) on the mobile communication device, caching, in memory on the mobile communication device, the first profile corresponding to the first subscription, deactivating the first subscription of the eUICC on the mobile communication device without detaching from the first network, caching, in memory on the mobile communication device, a second profile stored on the eUICC corresponding to a second subscription, activating the first subscription of the eUICC, and monitoring for paging indicators directed to the second subscription utilizing the cached second profile.
