    摘要: A heat sink includes a fin assembly including a plurality of fins and a plate type heat pipe attached to the fin assembly. The plate type heat pipe includes a sealed shell in which a working fluid is filled, a wick layer formed on an inner face of the shell and a supporting member disposed in the shell. The supporting member includes a plurality of supporting portions and a plurality of bodies connecting the supporting portions. Each supporting portion includes a plurality of convex portions contacting a top of the wick layer and a plurality of concave portions contacting a bottom of the wick layer. The convex portions and the concave portions of each supporting portion are alternately arranged. Each convex portion and an adjacent concave portion cooperatively enclose a first through hole for the working fluid flowing therethrough.

    摘要: An exemplary plate-type heat pipe includes a hermetic container, working fluid contained in the container, a first wick portion and two second wick portions formed on inner surfaces of the container. The container includes an evaporating plate and a condensing plate facing each other. The evaporating plate includes a heat absorbing portion, two transition portions extending outwardly and upwardly from opposite ends of the heat absorbing portion, respectively, and two extending portions extending outwardly from outer ends of the transition portions, respectively. The first wick portion is formed on an inner surface of the heat absorbing portion. The second wick portions are formed on inner surfaces of the transition portions, respectively. The third wick portions are formed on inner surfaces of the extending portions, respectively. The third wick portions define capillary pores and a plurality of holes therein.

The shell includes an evaporating section, a condensing section and an adiabatic section located between the evaporating section and the condensing section. The capillary wick includes a first segment occupying the whole of the evaporating section, a second segment and a third segment received in the condensing section and connected to the first segment by the second segment. The vapor channel is defined between the second segment of the capillary wick and the shell.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a hydrodynamic bearing (30) includes the following steps. First, a substrate having a surface with multiple protrusions thereon is formed. The protrusions are adapted for forming grooves in a preform. The preform, when finally processed, becomes a shaft of the hydrodynamic bearing or a bearing of the hydrodynamic bearing. Second, a feedstock of binder and powder is pushed to the surface of the substrate to form the perform on the surface of the substrate. Third, the substrate is removed from the preform. Fourth, the preform is sintered. Fifth, the preform is precision machined to obtain the shaft or the bearing, as the case may be. In the shaft or bearing, the grooves are for generating hydrodynamic pressure.

The first adhering portion is thinner than the second adhering portion, and the second adhering portion thins from a central portion to opposite ends thereof.

A positioning structure extends from the immovable portion and slideably receives the movable portion therein for avoiding the movable portion from deviating from the immovable portion during movement of the movable portion relative the immovable portion. Temperature sensors are attached to the immovable portion and the movable portion for detecting temperature of the heat pipe.

    摘要: A loop-type heat exchange device (10) is disclosed, which includes an evaporator (20), a condenser (40), a vapor conduit (30) and a liquid conduit (50). The evaporator contains therein a working fluid. The working fluid in the evaporator evaporates into vapor after absorbing heat, and the generated vapor flows, via the vapor conduit, to the condenser where the vapor releases its latent heat of evaporation and is condensed into condensate. The condensate then returns back, via the liquid conduit, to the evaporator to thereby form a heat transfer loop. The condenser defines therein a chamber, and a plurality of heat-exchange pins is provided inside the chamber for effectively exchanging heat with the vapor entering into the condenser.

A movable portion is capable of moving relative to the immovable portion. A receiving structure is defined between the immovable portion and the movable portion for receiving the heat pipe therein. A positioning structure extends from at least one of the immovable portion and the movable portion to ensure that the receiving structure is capable of precisely receiving the heat pipe therein. At least a temperature sensor is attached to at least one of the immovable portion and the movable portion to detect a temperature of the heat pipe. An enclosure encloses the immovable portion and the movable portions therein, and defines a space for movement of the movable portion relative to the immovable portion.
