摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may support channel state information (CSI) operations, such as CSI reporting. A UE may identify a change in CSI pertaining to communications with a base station or any other change in communications with a base station. The UE may transmit, to the base station and based on the change in CSI, a CSI scheduling request, which may include an indication to activate or grant resources for a CSI report transmission from the UE to the base station. The UE may receive, from the base station, a CSI report trigger based on the CSI scheduling request, and transmit, in response to receipt of the CSI report trigger, a CSI report over a physical layer uplink channel (e.g., a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH)).

In another aspect, a method includes determining a number of RSRP reports to send based a CSI report request; transmitting a first RSRP report for a first beam of a plurality of beams, the first beam associated with a first group of beams of a plurality of groups; and transmitting a second RSRP report for a second beam of the plurality of beams, the second beam associated with a second group of beams of the plurality of groups.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for frame based operation and medium contention procedures in wireless networks. In some aspects, devices of a wireless network may perform receiver side contention operations. To illustrate, reference signals from a receiving device may be transmitted to a transmitting device and used by the transmitting device to estimate interference for transmitter side transmissions. Such receiver side reference signals may more accurately reflect the interference profile that transmissions sent by the transmitting device will face, such as when operating in a spectrum shared with many devices. The transmitting device may utilize the beam(s) that satisfy interference criteria when receiving the reference signals to transmit data. Receiver side frame based operation may provide a more stable interference profile which enables better rate prediction, and the better rate prediction may increase reliability and overall network and medium throughput.

摘要: Techniques related to using an anticipatory NACK for a decoding failure prediction are disclosed. Some aspects of the disclosure relate to devices and methods for wireless communication including obtaining downlink control information (DCI) including scheduling information for a data transmission over one or more data channel resources. When a predictive channel model predicts a high probability of a decoding failure for the one or more data channel resources, based on the high probability of decoding failure, an anticipatory NACK may be transmitted, indicating an anticipated failure to properly decode the data transmission. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods related to performing contention credit-based listen-before-talk (LBT) for communications over a shared radio frequency band (e.g., in a shared spectrum or in an unlicensed spectrum) are provided. A wireless communication device performs a first clear channel assessment (CCA) including a first countdown. The wireless communication device transmits, after a gap period from the first countdown, a first communication signal. The wireless communication device performs a second CCA including a second countdown. The wireless communication device transmits, beginning before an end of the second countdown, a second communication signal based on at least a first contention credit associated with the gap period.

In some examples, the second UE may be a UE configured to receive a transmission from a third UE over the first resources. In some such examples, the first UE may transmit, to a fourth UE, a sidelink transmission over available resources that exclude the first resources. Additionally, or alternatively, the second UE may be a UE that received sidelink control information from the third UE indicating the resources for transmission by the third UE to a fourth UE. In some such examples, the first UE may transmit, to the second UE, a sidelink transmission over available resources that exclude the first resources.

摘要: A phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) may be transmitted to enable a receiver to correct phase noise in wireless communication. A UE scheduled for one PDSCH with DMRS ports in two or more DMRS CDM groups that are associated with two TCI states may be configured for PT-RS using two PT-RS ports. Therefore, rather than limiting PT-RS to a single port, the PT-RS may be transmitted to the UE using two PT-RS ports. The apparatus transmits a capability indication for more than one PT-RS port for receiving a downlink shared channel based on a first TCI and a second TCI. The apparatus receives a configuration for a maximum number of downlink PT-RS ports from a base station.
