摘要： An apparatus and method for detecting seating of a medium on a media tray includes a conductive element having a first terminal and a second terminal and forming an interrupted circuit between the first terminal and the second terminal; and a spindle structurally supporting and integral with the conductive element, the spindle adapted to receive an edge of the medium, the medium causing completion of a conductive pathway of the interrupted circuit between the first and second terminal when seated upon the spindle. A plurality of switches is coupled to the outer circumference of the spindle and a tray with a circular medium receiving area mechanically and electrically coupled to the spindle and the circuit, with the plurality of switches engaged in operative relation to movable members coupled to the outer circumference of the spindle. Another apparatus and method includes a conductive element incorporated into a media tray having a first terminal and a second terminal integral with the media tray. The receipt of the circular medium upon the tray completing the electrical circuit. The apparatus includes a plurality of switches coupled to the receiving area of the media try that engage in operative relation to movable members coupled to the receiving are of the media tray.

摘要： An apparatus and method are disclosed for providing a fluid communication path to a wound site through a drape. The apparatus has a body portion having a lower surface and an upper surface, at least one connection port, at least one suction port and at least one fluid communication passageway between the connection port and the suction port. A connector at an end of at least one tubular conduit is locatable through the drape into an orifice in the connection port to thereby provide a fluid communication path through the drape between the tubular conduit and the wound site.

One divided title can be a possessing title that encompasses the single unbundled property right of possession and the second divided title can be a controlling-title that encompasses all unbundled full undivided or fee simple rights to the property other than possession. As a result, transactions that transfer physical possession of the property without transferring other rights that control modifications to the property can be accomplished. The system and method permits other divisions of the full undivided or fee simple property rights bundle to achieve other objectives property owners may desire.

摘要： A gas dispersion nozzle for a gun silencer having a nozzle portion with a front end and a rear end and walls enclosing a hollow interior therein. The rear end of the nozzle portion is attached to the gun silencer and the nozzle portion extends into the interior of the gun silencer. The rear end also attaches to a firearm. The walls have channels which direct flow of propellant gases out of the hollow interior and into the interior of the gun silencer at an angle to a path along which the projectile passes when the firearm is discharged. The channels cause the flow of propellant gases to become turbulent or rotational or both and can cause the flow rate of said propellant gases to decrease. The gas dispersion nozzle reduces the report and/or flash produced by the discharge of a firearm.
