    摘要: A remote keyless entry system includes a portable communication device for communicating with an electronic control module of a transportation vehicle. The transmitter has at least two selectable communication channels for broadcasting communications signals to the transportation vehicle. A vehicle based electronic control module communicates with the portable communication device. The electronic control module includes a receiver that includes at least two selectable communication channels for receiving RF signals from the portable communication device. A controller selectively energizes the receiver for measuring a RSSI voltage level of each selectable communication channel of the receiver over respective predetermined time periods. The controller determines which of the at least two selectable communication channels includes a lowest noise level based on the measured RSSI voltage level. A channel status update signal is broadcast from the electronic control module to the portable communication device identifying the selected communication channel having the lowest noise level.

    摘要: An apparatus and method is provided for identifying unauthorized access to a vehicle having a keyless-passive entry system. An interrogation signal is broadcast from a vehicle based transmission device. The interrogation signal includes a first pulse transmitted at a first amplitude and a second pulse transmitted at a second amplitude where the second amplitude is greater than the first amplitude by at least a predetermined difference threshold. The interrogation signal is received by a portable communication device. A determination is made whether the second amplitude of the second pulse is greater than the first amplitude of the first pulse by a predetermined difference threshold. A determination is made that the interrogation signal is an authorized interrogation signal in response to the determination that the interrogation signal includes the first pulse transmitted at the first amplitude following by the second pulse transmitted at the second amplitude where the second amplitude is greater than the first amplitude by at least a predetermined difference threshold.

    摘要: In a system for remote monitoring of vehicle tire pressure, a system and method for identifying tire location. A tire pressure monitor for each tire includes a sensor for sensing tire pressure, a transmitter for transmitting a signal representative of the sensed tire pressure, and a sensor for sensing an impact to the tire and for actuating the transmitter to transmit a tire pressure signal in response. A receiver for mounting on the vehicle receives the tire pressure signals. A controller for mounting on the vehicle communicates with the receiver and is for use in conveying tire pressure and location information to a user. When the vehicle is stationary, each tire is struck in a preselected sequence so that each received tire pressure signal is automatically associated with one of the plurality of tire locations.
