Abstract: A multi-phase switching regulator includes: a plurality of power stages, a plurality of pulse width modulation (PWM) controllers and a ramp signal setting circuit. The PWM controllers generate corresponding PWM signals for controlling corresponding power stages respectively according to an error signal related to an output voltage and a plurality of ramp signals corresponding to corresponding power stages respectively. The ramp signal setting circuit adjusts the ramp signal of the phase that is to be enabled or disabled according to the phase adjustment signal. Under a phase-cut operation, the ramp signal setting circuit causes a basis level of the ramp signal corresponding to the phase to be disabled to gradually change, thereby decreasing a duty ratio of the PWM signal corresponding to the phase to be disabled.

Abstract: The present invention provides a switching regulator with PFC function and a control circuit and a control method thereof. The switching regulator with PFC function includes a power stage circuit, a current sense circuit, and a control circuit. The power stage circuit operates at least one power switch therein according to an operation signal to convert an input voltage to an output voltage. When a transient voltage of the input voltage exceeds a transient voltage upper limit, or when a transient slew rate of the input voltage exceeds a transient slew rate upper limit, the control circuit adjusts a frequency response gain from a stable state frequency response gain to a transient state frequency response gain, such that a transient current of an output current does not exceed a current upper limit, and/or that a transient response time of the output current does not exceed a threshold transient time period.

Abstract: A control circuit for an AC-DC power converter includes a junction field effect transistor (JFET), a first resistor, a second resistor, and a third resistor. The JFET includes a substrate, a drain, a source, a gate, a first oxide layer, and a second oxide layer. The first oxide layer is attached to a region located between the drain and the gate of the JFET, and the second oxide layer is not attached to a region located between the drain and the gate of the JFET. The first resistor is positioned on the first oxide layer, and the second resistor and the third resistor are positioned on the second oxide layer. When the JFET and the first resistor receive an input power signal, the first, the second, and the third resistors divide the input power signal, and prevent from the breakdown of the first oxide layer and the second oxide layer.

Abstract: A switching regulator includes a first switch, a second switch, an inductor coupled to the first and second switches, and a control circuit. Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-load control apparatus, a slave circuit and a control method thereof. The multi-load control apparatus includes a master circuit and at least one slave circuit. The master circuit generates at least one pulse width modulation (PWM) signal according to an input signal. The slave circuit controls a power switch according to a corresponding PWM signal. The slave circuit has a primary side circuit and a secondary side circuit. The power switch has a control terminal which is driven according to a floating ground level which is not a constant voltage level. Abstract: A flyback power converter circuit converting an input voltage to an output voltage includes a transformer, a power switch, a synchronous rectifier (SR) switch, and a secondary side control circuit. Abstract: A linear LED driver includes a voltage supply terminal providing a driving voltage, at least one first transistor, each of which has an input terminal coupled to a respective LED, and a bleeder circuit. When the voltage of the output terminal of each of the at least one first transistor is lower than a first threshold and a power voltage is higher than a second threshold, the bleeder circuit will generate a bleeder current to discharge the voltage supply terminal so as to prevent the LEDs from flickering. The bleeder circuit detects the voltage of the output terminal of each of the at least one first transistor. Therefore, whether the LEDs are lighted up can be confirmed so that the bleeder current can be provided at properly time point.
