摘要: There is provided a gas detector capable of detecting hydrogen concentration and humidity independently in the environment containing both hydrogen and water vapor. The gas detector comprises a high-temp exothermic detector unit and a low-temp exothermic detector unit provided with themosensitive resistors of different self-heating temperatures. The gas detector converts gas-level outputs produced by the high-temp exothermic detector unit and the low-temp exothermic detector unit responsive to the hydrogen concentration and humidity into electric signals, and outputs them after computing electrically levels of the hydrogen concentration and humidity contained in a gas introduced into the two detector units through a gas intake opening.

摘要: Provided is a sound reproduction device including a loudspeaker and a superdirective speaker. The loudspeaker is configured so that a sound pressure of audible sound produced therefrom decreases as the sound travels farther away from the loudspeaker. The superdirective speaker is configured so that a sound pressure of audible sound produced therefrom has a peak at a predetermined distance from the superdirective speaker, and is configured to use an ultrasonic wave as a carrier wave. The loudspeaker and the superdirective speaker are positioned such that a loudspeaker sound field of the audible sound produced from the loudspeaker and a superdirective speaker sound field of the audible sound produced from the superdirective speaker overlap with each other at a position of a listener.

摘要: A drunk driving detection system to be incorporated in a vehicle includes a steering wheel, a film, a pair of contact detection electrodes, an alcohol sensor, and a control circuit. The steering wheel is provided with an opening in a portion to be grasped by a driver. The film is liquid-impermeable and air-permeable, and covers the first opening. The contact detection electrodes are provided on the film. The alcohol sensor is provided in a space in communication with the opening. The control circuit is connected to the contact detection electrodes and the alcohol sensor, and measures the resistance between the contact detection electrodes. When the resistance is within a predetermined range, the control circuit determines that the driver is in contact with the film and detects an alcohol drinking condition of the driver based on the output from the alcohol sensor.

摘要: The invention is a pressure sensor including a main body including a pressure inlet at and end thereof, a deformable section deformed by a pressure introduced through the pressure inlet, and a non-deformable section maintaining the shape thereof even when supplied with a pressure introduced through the pressure inlet; an amorphous magnetic alloy member having a magnetostriction constant, the amorphous magnetic alloy member being adhered on the deformable section and the non-deformable section; a first permeability detection element for detecting the permeability of a part of the amorphous magnetic alloy member corresponding to the deformable section; a second permeability detection element for detecting the permeability of another part of the amorphous magnetic alloy member corresponding to the non-deformable section; and a yoke for covering the first and the second permeability detection elements; the yoke is adhered on the main body. The amorphous magnetic alloy member and the first and the second permeability detection elements are included in a magnetic circuit, and pressure detection is performed based on the difference between the permeability detected by the first permeability detection element and the permeability detected by the second permeability detection element. The difference is caused by the application of pressure.

摘要: A highly accurate gas sensor includes a circuit having an improved S/N ratio. First ends of a heat generating element and reference resistor brought into contact with a detected gas are commonly connected, and second ends are respectively connected to a first switch. The first switch is connected with a power source apparatus for supplying a current to the heat generating element or reference resistor. A voltage measuring portion measures a voltage across the heat generating element or reference resistor. An operating portion switches the first switch between the reference resistor and heat generating element by a predetermined timing by determining a condition of controlling a power source apparatus for supplying at least 3 stages of step-like currents to the heat generating element from the voltage across the reference resistor. A voltage measuring portion measures the voltage across the heat generating element and calculates a concentration of a detected gas.

摘要: In a gas sensor, at least three levels of current are supplied to a heating element successively in a step-like manner for a predetermined time period. An arithmetic unit receives both-end voltages of the heating element for the respective current after elapse of the predetermined time period and calculates temperature from the both-end voltage of the heating element obtained when the lowest current flows. Then, the arithmetic unit corrects the both-end voltages of the heating element using the calculated temperature, a zero-point correction equation and a sensitivity correction equation to obtain respective standardized output values. Subsequently, the arithmetic unit calculates humidity based on the difference between the standardized output values, and corrects the standardized outputs based on the calculated humidity and humidity correction equations. By this method, the arithmetic unit calculates concentration of detection target gas.

摘要: Input device has a plurality of dials, a driving portion for moving the plurality of dials, a dial selecting portion and a controller. The dial selecting portion receives an input to make a selection from the plurality of dials. The controller controls the driving portion such that the dial selected by the input supplied to the dial selecting portion is moved to a predetermined position. By virtue of the described construction, a specific dial is moved to the position where it is easy to control. The input device is preferably mounted on a vehicle. A driver is enabled to select a dial desired to be controlled without the need for searching for it through the sense of sight and to control the dial easily.
