    摘要: In order to improve reliability of an optical disk drive apparatus at low cost, a flexible substrate for making connection between an optical pick-up device incorporated in the optical disk drive apparatus and a drive side is divided into a first flexible substrate fixed to the optical pick-up body (for example, upper surface), and a second flexible substrate connected to the first flexible substrate and extending to the drive, wiring conductors formed on a connection end portion of the first flexible substrate and wiring conductors formed on a connection end portion of the second flexible substrate are superposed at a region adjacent an end of the case of the optical pick-up device body, and connected to each other by joining material, and a connection section between the wiring conductors is held down by a cover for protecting the optical pick-up device body.

    摘要: A rotary connector includes a case, a cover, a rotor having a top panel part and a first cylindrical part, a rotor snap having locking parts locked with an outer surface of the cover and a second cylindrical part snap-fitted to the first cylindrical part, flexible cables wound windably/rewindably in the case, and a ring-shaped plate part. In this case, a holding projection project outward in a radial direction from the outer circumferential surface of the second cylindrical part between a lower end of the first cylindrical part and the locking parts, and an inner rim of the cover is provided with a holding step so as to form a step. Furthermore, a wall surface forming the step of the holding step faces side surface of the holding projection, and an inner rim of the cover is rotatably interposed between lower surface of the holding projection and an upper surface of the ring-shaped plate part.

    摘要: A motor-driven power steering apparatus includes a motor for generating assisting force to be imparted to a steering mechanism, a control signal generation section for generating a motor control signal on the basis of at least steering torque applied to a steering wheel, a motor drive unit for driving the motor in accordance with the motor control signal, and a step-up circuit provided between a battery to the motor drive unit. The step-up circuit includes a step-up coil whose one end is connected to the battery, a first switching element connected between the other end of the step-up coil and the ground, a second switching element connected between the other end of the step-up coil and an output terminal, and a capacitor connected between the output terminal and the ground and smoothing output voltage appearing at the output terminal. The apparatus further includes a step-up circuit control unit which detects the output voltage and controls the first and second switching elements on the basis of difference between a target output voltage and the detected output voltage. During power generation periods, at least the first switching element is turned on and off in order to increase the output voltage supplied to the motor through step-up operation. During regeneration periods, at least the second switching element is turned on and off.
