    Abstract: Various embodiments provide recommendations for a parking area for a vehicle. Information regarding an object within a specified area is detected by a sensor of the vehicle. The specified area is divided into a plurality of tiles. Based on the information regarding the object, one or more of the tiles is classified as unobstructed tiles. Based on the one or more unobstructed tiles and a footprint of the vehicle, a parking area for the vehicle is identified within the specified area. The footprint of the vehicle fits inside the parking area. A visualization associated with the parking area is generated.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for presenting information related to electric charging stations for charging an electric vehicle. A first plurality of icons corresponding to an identified plurality of electric charging stations may be generated for presentation on a display. A zoom command to modify a zoom level of the map interface may be received, and in response to receiving the zoom command, a subset of the plurality of electric charging stations having a charging speed above a threshold charging speed may be identified, and a second plurality of icons, corresponding to the identified subset of the plurality of electric charging stations, may be generated for presentation at the display on a zoomed-out view of the map interface. Selectable options to display a detailed view of information related to an electric charger associated with an electric charger category from among multiple electric charger categories may be provided.

    Abstract: Various disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods for providing decision support to a person planning to make a trip in a vehicle. In an illustrative embodiment, a computing device has computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions configured to cause the computing device to identify a current travel capability for the vehicle based on available energy aboard the vehicle. A selection of travel information is presented to a user of the computing device. The travel information may include information including a duration of charging required to provide sufficient additional energy to perform a first trip, at least one range of additional travel possible without additional charging after performing the first trip, and at least one potential intermediate destination reachable while performing the first trip without undertaking additional charging.

They further include generating display content based on the one or more contextual parameters and displaying the generated display content on a screen within the vehicle.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods to present an option to visit an attraction and to present information about the attraction. In an illustrative embodiment, a computing system operates according to instructions that cause the computing system to: monitor a position of the computing system; present via a visual interface a map including at least one first route; identify via the visual interface at least one attraction situated within a range of the at least one first route; in response to a request to add a visit to the at least one attraction, determine at least one second route from the position to the at least one attraction; present the at least one second route on the map; generate navigational information according to the at least one second route; and when within a predetermined vicinity of the at least one attraction, present information about the at least one attraction.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for suggesting a charging station for an electric vehicle. A destination of the electric vehicle is determined, and a schedule of a user of the electric vehicle is accessed. An event scheduled during a travel period to reach the destination is identified in the schedule of the user, and a suggested charging station is selected based at least on the destination and the identified scheduled event. The suggested charging station is generated for presentation at a display.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include computer-implemented methods, systems, and vehicles for determining a travel range of a vehicle. In an illustrative embodiment, a perimeter is determined indicating a travel range of a vehicle from a starting location based on the capacity of the battery system. At least one charging location is identified within the perimeter. An option is provided to generate an extended perimeter indicating an extended travel range of the vehicle travel from the starting location based on a recharge of the battery system at the at least one charging location. Map data is generated including at least one visualized travel range chosen from the perimeter and the extended perimeter.
