摘要: A fixed joint test fixture is disclosed that may be selectively assembled and disassembled. The fixed joint test fixture includes a fixed joint sub-assembly, a shaft member, and a selectively actuatable engagement member. The fixed joint sub-assembly includes an inner bore and a stem member with a channel extending therethrough. The shaft member has an engagement channel formed in an end surface of an engagement end thereof. The engagement member is configured to be received within the engagement channel. The engagement end of the shaft is configured to be received within the inner bore, with the engagement member partially seated within the engagement channel thereof. The engagement member is configured to be advanced from the partially seated position within the engagement channel, thereby causing the shaft member to selectively and frictionally engage with the fixed joint sub-assembly.

摘要: A system and method for automatic digital radiographic inspection of round aerospace parts (18) and irregularly shaped aerospace parts (19) includes a radiation source (14) and a radiation detector (16) located on opposite sides of the aerospace part to receive the radiation from the radiation source. In operation the radiation source and the radiation detector are manipulated by a robot (10) in six independent axes of motion. The aerospace part is rotated by a part manipulator (20) to provide the seventh axis of motion and the aerospace part is tilted to provide the eighth axis of motion. This allows every portion of the aerospace part to be examined. The radiation detector converts the impinging radiation into electrical signals and the system generates the radiographic images and archives these images.

摘要: Drivetrains and frames for vehicles, equipment, machines, etc. Some embodiments of the drivetrains and frames are particularly suited for human powered machines, such as bicycles and exercise equipment. In some embodiments, a drivetrain includes a reciprocating crank coupled to a crank pivot. A lever couples to the crank via a lever pivot positioned on the crank. A lever stop cooperates with a lever guide surface to guide a motion of the lever as the lever pivots about the lever pivot. The lever and/or the crank are operably coupled to a drive pulley, idler pulley, and/or compound pulley. In some embodiments, a drive cable operably couples the lever and/or the crank to the drive pulley, idler pulley, and/or the compound pulley. In one embodiment, one or more pulleys couple to the lever's distal ends. In some embodiments, the drivetrain includes a wheel hub adapted to receive torque from the crank via a drive pulley.

摘要: An intracorporeal space filling device and a delivery system and method of using the device is disclosed. The space filling device is preferably configured for percutaneous delivery from a peripheral conduit of a patient. The space filling device has an elongated tubular or interconnected bead structure which may have a transmutable material disposed within it. The transmutable material can be altered from a non-rigid state to a rigid state by the application of various types of energy or by other suitable means. The space filling device can be positioned by a delivery system and detached from the delivery system after desired positioning is achieved.

摘要: A catheter device regulates fluid flow within a circulatory vessel. Included is an elongated catheter body configured to access one of a circulatory vessel or a heart chamber. The catheter body includes a proximal end, a distal end, and a first lumen including an open proximal end and a distal end with a port formed at a distal portion of the distal end. An antegrade valve is coupled to an exterior of the catheter body and configured to provide a controllable antegrade flow and a controllable retrograde flow along the exterior of the catheter body. The antegrade flow is greater than the retrograde flow. A retrograde valve may be included which provides a controllable retrograde and antegrade flow along the exterior of the catheter body. When a retrograde valve is used, the retrograde flow is greater than the antegrade flow.
