    摘要: Methods and systems are provided for biometric sensing. An illumination subsystem provides light at discrete wavelengths to a skin site of an individual. A detection subsystem receives light scattered from the skin site. A computational unit is interfaced with the detection system. The computational unit has instructions for deriving a spatially distributed multispectral image from the received light at the discrete wavelengths. The computational unit also has instructions for comparing the derived multispectral image with a database of multispectral images to identify the individual.

True-skin feature values are derived to characterize the true skin sites. Biometric spoofs is similarly illuminated under the distinct optical conditions and light reflected from the spoofs is received. Spoof feature values are derived to characterize the biometric spoofs. The derived true-skin feature values are compared with the derived spoof feature values to select a subset of the features to define the discrimination feature set.

    摘要: An identification system is disclosed which determines whether the claimed identity of an individual is in fact the true identity. A three dimensional image of a hand is obtained using a digitizing camera and a pair of orthogonal reflecting surfaces. The image is then compared with a previously recorded hand image for the claimed identity. If the images match, within a selectable tolerance, the person is accepted as the correct individual. If they do not match, the person is rejected. Signalling and/or control apparatus responds to the results of the comparison.

    摘要: An electronic recognition and identification system for identifying one of a plurality of electrically coded keys, each having at least one tuned electrical circuit which is resonant at at least one of a plurality of predetermined frequencies. The system comprises a sweep oscillator for generating an alternating current signal. The alternating current signal has a frequency which varies with time over a range of frequencies including the plurality of predetermined frequencies. A condition pulse generating network is connected to the oscillator and produces a condition pulse when one of the keys is proximate thereto and when the frequency of the alternating current signal passes through its predetermined frequency. A plurality of reference pulse generating circuits are selectively connected to the oscillator by a sequential multiplexer. Each reference pulse generating circuit is responsive to the alternating current signal and is operative to produce a reference pulse when the frequency of the alternating current signal passes through one of the plurality of predetermined frequencies. A control circuit is responsive to the condition pulses and the reference pulses and is operative to produce a control signal when there is time coincidence between those pulses.
