    摘要: The invention relates to expandable styrene polymers for elastic polystyrene foams, comprisinga) from 50 to 90% by weight of polystyrene and/or a styrene copolymer containing at least 50% by weight of copolymerized styrene,b) from 5 to 30% by weight of at least one styrene-soluble elastomer,c) from 5 to 20% by weight of at least one block copolymer containing styrene as one component,d) from 1 to 15% by weight, based on the sum of a), b) and c), of a low-boiling blowing agent, and, if desired,e) conventional additives in effective amounts,where, in the unfoamed polystyrene beads, component b) is in the form of cell particles and component c) is in the form of particles having a mean size of from 0.2 to 2 .mu.m in the polystyrene phase, and to foams and foam moldings produced therefrom.

    摘要: A thermoplastic molding material contains, in each case based on the molding material comprising A+B,A from 80 to 60% by weight of a hard matrix composed of polystyrene andB from 20 to 40% by weight of a soft phase which is obtainable by polymerization of styrene in the presence of a linear styrene/butadienne block copolymer which has an ill defined transition, contains from 35 to 45% by weight of styrene and from 65 to 55% by weight of butadiene and has a block polystyrene content of from 25 to 35% by weight, the soft phase being uniformly distributed in the hard matrix and having a particle diameter of less than 0.8 .mu.m.The typical features of the said molding material are that the median particle diameter d.sub.50 (volume average of the soft phase B is from 0.25 to 0.38 .mu.m, the width of the particle size distribution, (d.sub.95 14 d.sub.5), is from 0.2 to 0.6 .mu.m, the d.sub.60 value is from 0.26 to 0.40 .mu.m and the d.sub.90 value is from 0.40 to 0.75.

    摘要: An impact-resistant thermoplastic molding material which contains, based in each case on A+B, from 80 to 50% by weight of a hard matrix A of polystyrene having a molecular weight M.eta. of from 150,000 to 200,000 and from 50 to 20% by weight of a soft phase B which is uniformly distributed in the hard matrix and has a median particle diameter d.sub.50 (volume average) of from 1 to 10 .mu.m, and can be obtained by polymerizing styrene in the presence of an elastomeric grafting base, advantageously has a molecular weight of the grafted branches of from 1.1 to 1.35 times the molecular weight of the hard matrix, and the degree of grafting is from 50 to 100%.
