    摘要: A wall mount filter for an xDSL network is provided. Wall mount filter includes a wall mount plate to which a connection port is coupled. The connection port is operable to electrically couple to an electronic device. A low pass filter circuit is coupled to a back surface of the wall mount plate. The low pass filter circuit is in electrical connection with the connection port. The low pass filter circuit is operable to electrically couple to a premises network and is sized to fit within a wall mount outlet. The wall mount plate is operable to be coupled to the wall mount outlet with a front surface facing outward and the low pass filter circuit contained within the wall mount outlet.

    摘要: A system for processing an input signal communicated on a telephone line includes an input node to receive the input signal. The input signal comprises a first component associated with a first frequency band, a second component associated with a second frequency band higher than the first frequency band, and a third component associated with a third frequency band higher than the second frequency band. A first filter coupled to the input node receives the input signal, attenuates the first and third components, and communicates a first signal substantially comprising the second component. A second filter coupled to the input node receives the input signal, attenuates the second component, and communicates a second signal substantially comprising the first and third components. A third filter coupled to the second filter receives the second signal, attenuates the third component, and communicates a third signal substantially comprising the first component. An intermediate node coupled between the second and third filter may also couple to a fourth filter having an input capacitance that limits the ability of the third filter to pass the second component. In a more particular embodiment, the system is a POTS splitter, the first component is an analog telephone signal, the second component is a tax/billing tone, and the third signal is a digital data signal.

    摘要: A method, computer program product and system for monitoring and locating an object using secure communications without relying on GPS. A monitoring device may activate a monitored unit (unit monitored by monitoring device) by transmitting a seed of an algorithm and a time synchronization to the monitored unit. The seed and time synchronization may be used in conjunction with an algorithm, e.g., frequency hopping table, stored in both the monitoring device and the monitored unit, to allow both the monitoring device and the monitored unit to communicate with one another at a uniquely synchronized time and frequency thereby making it more difficult for a third party to locate the monitored unit. An alert may be generated when the monitored unit is located beyond a predetermined zone. The monitored unit may be located by activating a directional antenna in conjunction with a digital compass on the monitoring device.

    摘要: An FM tuner for feeding an IF section of a receiver circuit includes an antenna signal input circuit with broad band response to signals in a selected FM broadcast band. A mixer is connected to receive the signal from the input circuit and a variable local oscillator is connected to the mixer operating for high side injection to produce an IF signal centered within an RF band of minimal signal content and to produce an image displaced outside the response of the input circuit. An SWD filter connected to the output of the mixer has narrow band response at the IF frequency.
