    摘要： The present invention relates to a process for joining two metal members together. The process comprises the steps of providing two parent metal members to be joined and a prealloyed interlayer foil having a melting point depressant; creating a joint interface by positioning the foil between two spaced apart surfaces of the two parent metal members to be joined together; applying a load substantially transverse to the joint interface which does not cause deformation of the surfaces; and applying localized rapid heating in the area of the joint interface at a temperature sufficient to effect bonding of the two metallic members while causing little or no degradation of microstructural or mechanical properties of the parent metal and a coarsening of grain size in rim portions of the metal members.

The methods may include a subsequent heat treatment to provide the desired strength properties to the joint between the material and the part.

    摘要： A tiltable serving device for storing and dispensing a pourable liquid foodstuff such as a gravy, juice, punch or sauce is disclosed. The device includes a container having an upper open end and a pour spout attached to an upper end portion thereof for guiding the flow of a liquid as it is poured from the container. An end portion of the pour spout contains a cornerless hole therethrough which is sized so that a majority portion of a liquid being poured from the container along the pour spout flows over an end of the spout while a minority portion of the liquid flowing along the spout flows through the hole. The hole has an opening on an upper surface of the spout which lies generally parallel to the direction of flow of the liquid flowing along the spout. The pour spout may be in the form of a lip attached to an upper rim portion of the container which extends outwardly and downwardly from the rim. The container may be removably disposed upon a stand whereon it can be tilted to pour a liquid therefrom along the spout.
