摘要： The invention provides a process for preparing 1-alkoxy-2-methyl-1-oxopropan-2-yl(meth)acrylate, e.g. 1-methoxy-2-methyl-1-oxopropan-2-yl(meth)acrylate, by transesterifying alkyl α-hydroxyisobutyrates. Copolymerization of such monomers in the preparation of poly(meth)acrylate-based moulding materials improves the heat distortion resistance thereof.
